Love all the Mac lipsticks. They are so pigmented and never disappoints when it comes to texture and pigmentation. The packaging is beautiful. The lipstick is transfer proof. This is the perfect color for the date night. What I do is I apply a clear chapstick and apply lip liner all over my lips before applying and lasts me an entire day, 12+ hours, even after eating and drinking. They are so comfortable on the lips and doesn’t crack or make my lips look wrinkly like a lot of other liquid lipsticks. Totally recommend

I currently own 5 MAC matte lipticks in the shades; Viva Glam II, Whirl, Taupe, Persistence and Spirit. All shades are similar however I just adore the formula of the matte collection. All are darker shades of nude, some are more mauve coloured but each one stays on for a great length of time and has great consistency. I would agree that the product matches the price as they are great quality. My number one favourite is Whirl. The shade is somewhat a brown red, such a rich and deep colour i think it looks great with any dark brown/ gold eye looks. It glides on my lips like it is a creamy product but mattifies so quickly and does not dry it my lips. I do find that spirit is definitely a more dull toned lipstick, almost like the shade stone in the collection and i think for naturally medium skin tones it looks great however i would say on darker tones it would maybe look grey or washed out? But Its entirely your choice and we tend to make the product work for us so go for it! Taupe is a close second favourite, it is more brown and well, taupe! This shade looks great with a dirty rose eye look or again a dark gold eye colour and i often wear this as a everyday product because i find it suits my skintone very well. It is not too bold unlike the darker tones in Whirl but still shows off your lips fabulously! My most recent buy is Viva Glam II. I love that i ventured beyond my typical dark mauve/red brown shades and went for a lighter pinky beige shade. It is not actually listed as a matte shade but is the satin formula which is close to matte but not completely, it gives of a slight shimmer which i love to wear when going out with friends and I often where it to school when i'm extra fabulous, just because it gives your lips a little something extra to lift your look for the day. I do find with this product that some product transferred off when i ate food or had a drink but its not exactly hard to reapply so did not concern one bit! What I love about these lipsticks is that they are long lasting and do not smell of nasty chemicals like other makeup brands I own. Though they are expensive for a brand, they're popular, high quality lipsticks that give amazing colours to your lips.

Clumpy Cakey Crusty

The quality of the lipstick is not as expected. I recall buying it in a different shade years ago and it had a much longer staying power. This particular color seems to fade away quickly, barely lasting an hour or two, despite the product's claim of lasting up to eight hours. To add to the disappointment, it also tends to become clumpy and cakey after a single coat. It is also noticeably drying to the lips. Surprisingly, I have found better quality in more affordable drugstore brands.

It is meant to be "waterproof" that is "long-wearing, up to 8 hours".I bought this lipstick with the impression that it would perform as advertised. It did not. It never fully dries even with the thinnest layers possible so always smudges and transfers even with the lightest touch. I wore this lip for 3 hours and ate once, causing the lipstick to smudge off of both the outer edges of my lips and the inner sections as well. I love it!!!!!

Omg! I love the lip color. I'm so mad. I bought it and I used it everyday. I told my co workers this is the most I have ever paid for lip gloss, but it is worth it. I was like, I better not loose it. Now, I have 100's of cheap lip glosses in my purse and never lost them. But I loose the one that has convinced me to pay more to have smooth lips with moisture. I'm so mad. It has not shown up anywhere. I'm working overtime and I will visit Dillard to buy some more. I feel like an idiot. I guess I spoke it into existence by mentioning the word loose. lol. Thanks for letting me vent; as I have vented to all my coworkers and family. It's funny that my sweet daughter asks every other day did I find it.

My favorite liquid lipstick

I have been using this liquid lipstick for almost the past 10 years. I still have a lot the discontinued colors as well. No other lipstick compares to this one in my opinion. I just purchased Ruby Phew and it is now my absolute perfect red!! I have Feels so Grand and Dance with me as well. I apply a clear chapstick and apply lip liner all over my lips before applying. It lasts me an entire day, 12+ hours, even after eating and drinking, maybe even kissing lol. 10/10 recommend!!

The Best!

I purchased this product years ago and used it sporadically but then I got Invisalign and then COVID hit. This has become the ONLY lipstick I wear. It stays in place and has bold vibrant colors. I can go out to dinner and eat multiple courses and the lipstick remains in place. If it does diminish, I can simply rub my lips together and the color spreads out without touching up. I have 6 of the colors and the only one I not a fan of is Topped with Brandy. It's just too muted for my brown skin. I wish they would make additional colors because it is really a great product. I would encourage everyone to use the lip primer prior to applying. It makes a huge difference.
