This new one, priced at 50% more, is jjust slightly faster, the fan is on straight away and you get half the hard drive space, 40GB of which is gobbled up straight away by the system. Photoshop CC and Nik can't handle each other, CC constantly just shuts down with no error report to send to Apple. You also can't upgrade the RAM or SSD as you could with the previous Pro. I was pretty hesitant about ordering a renewed electronic, as I havenât had good experiences in the past. Let me start off by saying, I am so incredibly happy with my MacBook Pro. Mine was rated âgoodâ condition, and it is completely flawless. I 100% recommend ordering from Plug, and I can say with complete honesty, that you will not be disappointed. So I can't say much about the MacBook at the moment since I have only had it for 2 days but so far so good, the screen works the battery charges and I have not seen anything that would make me believe this device is defective. I will like to note that this is the second MacBook they sent out. The first one I paid the extra 20 bucks to have it the next day and when I got it I for sure looked at everything and I noticed that there was an alert stating that the battery needed servicing. So I contacted the company and they suggested an exchange so I did it. I ended up paying to send it back which was annoying. Two days later they agreed to send me another MacBook but I had two wait 2 days, but what can I say at least I got the MacBook and it seems to be working. Best selling computer for the $. Apple literally doubled the base storage on their Macs, shouldâve done that from the start thoughâŚ. Canât complain I love they listen to the customers requests. There are literally so many ways to use this MacBook I still need to learn a lot about them but it sure is fun using one and learning as you go. I bought this after a lot of research and comparison with Macbook Air retina and the touch bar model. Eventually found this to be best buy and the value for money considering the performance of this laptop and being brighter with 500 nits over 300 nits in the Macbook air. I prefer this over the touch bar model only due to the extra price we need to pay which may not be that worth. Also, its just 100g heavier than the air which makes a great lightweight laptop with a full featured cpu in this class. Love the speakers as well. it produces great sound in a desktop. If I could give a zero rating, I would. Item is not an Air but a Pro. It does NOT have a touch bar as listed. It came with a dead battery and the included charger does not fit this computer. I tried several times to contact the seller with no response. These people are obviously on the shady side. Buyer beware.
I finally made the switch from Windows to Mac. Just about had it with Windows 8/10, but that's another story. This machine is of course designed and machined beautifully, and MacOS matches the build quality in most ways (especially compared to Windows). However, there are a couple of issues that are really not acceptable considering the price point. One, getting my HP2740w to work has been a real pain. I have tried the Caldigit USB-C Dock, the Belkin Thunderbolt 3 Express HD dock, and now the Caldigit TS3. The Caldigit USB-C dock had the most issues, with flickering / on off problems, and no wake from sleep. The Belkin was working wonderfully for a few days, but then no wake from sleep to external display. So all in all, five stars for the build quality and OS design, but serious points off for things that "should just work", but they don't. I would still recommend the computer, because MacOS is still just night and day better than Windows.
Purchased this for my husband for Valentineâs. Came dirty with finger prints all over, the D button does not work and it keeps saying the battery needs replace. After charging it for hours. I realize this is refurbished. But it should still come in working condition. Especially because I paid over 500 dollars for it.
i was very reluctant to get this cause i was nervous about how low the price was. i ordered it on friday and it got here tuesday. it had a few âcrumbsâ? on it when it got here but once i plugged it in i have had zero issues. the audio, camera, and everything else seems to be working just fine! iâm extremely happy with my purchase and will update if i have any issues in the future with this device.
