Packaging was neat and safely secured. I was more so impressed with the physical condition of the laptop as I’ve seen and heard of many horror stories from others who have order refurbished MacBooks throughout. I received a clean and truly refurbished MacBook as described. There was only one minor imperfection which was a small scratch on the bottom that is hardly noticeable. Also some very fine and minor rough edges that is only noticeable if you were to look at it up close but that is expected with used product. The MacBook also came with a new charger. The battery life appears to be in normal condition and no issues so far. Keyboard, touchpad, touch bar, and screen functions work just fine, no issues. The only slight “con” I had was with setting up the computer. ... MorePackaging was neat and safely secured. I assumed the seller set the laptop to its original factory setting as I was not able to perform certain functions initially due to having an outdated MacBook OS. After doing some simple research, I was able to download the MacBook Ventura OS version which is the most current OS. The MacBook is now updated and I am satisfied with my purchase. I would recommend giving this seller a try.

Unboxing Design: Standard unboxing, nothing extraordinary. The laptop feels solid, thanks to the unibody aluminum build. Love that ports are back!, but I'm really not a fan of the webcam notch – a larger top bezel or a different design would be better. The space black finish is nice, it appears more like a gunmetal grey in bright light, but in low light or oblique angles it is very black. Performance: Scores well on geekbench, and cinebench. I haven't had any issues with performance, and vs my old base M1 macbook pro 8gb, its much much harder to summon the beach ball! Apple's gaming claims are a bit overhyped, or premature tho... there's hardly any, and running games through Crossover is okay. Compatibility and performance are ymmv for sure. Get a gaming laptop if you want to game. Display: The Full array micro led backlight really helps HDR pop on this, and colors are fantastic. But in dark images with small bright highlights you can see some backlight blooming. 120hz refresh is always welcome, but know that macbook displays usually have pretty bad pixel response times so fast moving content tends to blur. Apple should move to OLED displays, this would fix their pixel response and backlight blooming. Memory Storage: 18GB RAM does the job well, even for AI model stuff (stable diffusion, up to 13b llama models). The 1TB SSD is adequate, though I would've liked more without the Apple tax... Performance-wise, it's comparable to high-end PCIE4 M.2 NVMe drives. Battery Charging: Battery life is good, lasts all day for light tasks, but anything that uses rosetta translation or gpu drains it much faster. Magsafe is great to have back, but the magnet feels too strong - worried it might damage the port or finish over time.

Despite I was hesitant to buy a refurbished MacBook Pro, adding that some buyers had a non favorable at all reviews when I was thinking to buy, I decided to try with this vendor Kanga and if any issue happens, to return it before the 90 days period. By now being the third day after "unboxing", the experience has been so pleasant, with the following highlights: 1.- Speakers performs like sound bar systems, even better that some bars for TVs. I've been listening this morning a Pink Floyd concert in YouTube and i've found its flawless sound is amazing, much better than my 50 inches Smart TV. 2.- It had MacOS Monterey preinstalled, and after a not so long update, I had the latest version 12.4, with all current patches. 3.- It has a minor scratch on the back of the ... MoreDespite I was hesitant to buy a refurbished MacBook Pro, adding that some buyers had a non favorable at all reviews when I was thinking to buy, I decided to try with this vendor Kanga and if any issue happens, to return it before the 90 days period. It looks and behave like new MacBook Pro, in a mint condition, despite it is at least 5 years old. 4.- Coming from a MacBook Pro 2015, I'm getting used to the touch bar, however the learning curve has been no significant and I'm learning quickly its features. Touch Bar working fine at the moment.
I love that this laptop never got hot once. No fans make it dead silent anyways. The battery seriously is weirdly good (still) and I can watch a few days of Netflix before I have to charge. screen is vivid and easy on the eyes. It talks to the other devices that I already own which is super cool. The keyboard is a dream to type on and I am enjoying having lighted keys. I thought I would need to buy a separate mouse but the trackpad is so user friendly. No need to spend the extra money. My favorite thing about this laptop is how light and portable it is. It will be perfect for when I go back to college in the near future. MacOS is like a dream and so clean and nice. The screen and speakers on these don't get enough credit. The screen is stunning.. it always looks ... MoreI love that this laptop never got hot once. No fans make it dead silent anyways. The screen is stunning.. it always looks good. The speakers are almost like having a JBL Go on each side.. very nice speakers. Also.. the front camera gets some hate but it's actually a much nicer 7 megapixel sensor and the M1 does killer processing of video and photos in real time. It's more than fine for a laptop.
This Macbook exceeded by expectations, and despite the cost I'm very glad I bought it. It's built like a tank when closed, and even when it's been running for a while the metal exterior always stays cool. I think the power saving must work really well too, as the battery percentage barely moves when I shut the lid and leave it on for a day or so. The display is incredible, and I have no problems reading even the tiniest text with my 35 year old eyes. There's been nothing in the way of lag or freezing, even when running multiple applications at once. I use it for audio processing and recording, and bought it hoping that it would handle large audio files flawlessly, which it does. I don't really find the touch bar to be that useful, but I do use it sometimes. Maybe ... MoreThis Macbook exceeded by expectations, and despite the cost I'm very glad I bought it. Received this item that was supposed to be in like new condition, however, when I received it there are literal chunks of the metal missing out of each corner, a very visible dent in the back .. okay cool, I could overlook those as it is cosmetic.. however, upon turning it on there was a VERY visible dent in the top right corner of the screen affecting the display. Like someone pushed their thumb too hard into the screen and damaged the display. Also I charged it to full before turning it on and the battery did not last more than 10 minutes and it gave me a “service battery” notice with the battery display in the top bar. I googled price of a new battery and it’s $250! And a new screen can range from $300-700 when I paid $300 for the laptop itself. I contacted Walmart and they said this seller does not offer exchanges so that is a bummer. Looks like I will be buying elsewhere.
I have had my eye on a new Apple laptop for several years, but I couldn't bring myself to spend that much for a 8/256 model. Just before the M4 line was released, BB offered this 24GB/1TB model for a massive discount and an additional $100 off for My BestBuy pro members. I couldn't pass it up.I've had the machine for about two months now and the performance is outstanding, as expected. And despite being an older M2 processor, this is more than enough computer for me, and hopefully, will be for years to come. My last MBP lasted me a good 8 years. One disappointment, known fully in advance, is the presence of only two Thunderbolt ports. So, I need a dock or adapter to connect my older drives and Apple SuperDrive. I ordered from the seller’s listing: “Pre-Owned Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Core i9 2.3GHz 32GB RAM 512GB SSD 15" Space Gray MV912LL/A (2019) - Like New.” Bottom line, it is a Macbook that is well engineered as is the case with most Apple products that I’ve used over the years, however I disagree with their use of the descriptor, “Like New.” It had issues that did NOT reflect the seller’s descriptive terms in the product listing. For example, TekDeal’s listing for this product stated that it was “professionally restored to working order by an approved vendor” and that the product was inspected, cleaned, and repaired to "meet manufacturer specifications. It is in excellent grade A 9 /10 cosmetic condition showing only extremely light signs of wear from handling," ... MoreI ordered from the seller’s listing: “Pre-Owned Apple MacBook Pro Laptop Core i9 2.3GHz 32GB RAM 512GB SSD 15" Space Gray MV912LL/A (2019) - Like New.” Bottom line, it is a Macbook that is well engineered as is the case with most Apple products that I’ve used over the years, however I disagree with their use of the descriptor, “Like New.” It had issues that did NOT reflect the seller’s descriptive terms in the product listing. The reality is that manufacturer specifications was NOT the state of A) the Macbook lid which has the after-image on its surface of decals that used to be on it; B) the Macbook battery; and C) the Macbook was experiencing screen blinks indicating there might be something going on either electronically or via internal hardware connections. That said, I do love the machine and the fact that it has a fast processor and came with 32GB ram installed. While TekDeal’s policy apparently limited me to two options, return the merchandise for full refund or keep it and get a partial 10% refund, I give them credit for having offered me these options and making good on the option I chose, which was the partial refund. I can apply the refunded amount to getting a new battery and will have to live with the after-image of the decals. Diagnosing and resolving the screen blinks might possibly result in additional expense. I’m not ready yet to recommend this company wholeheartedly but at least they gave me options.
This is undoubtedly the most incredible deal I've ever found, one that I simply couldn't pass up. Just two days after purchasing a basic-spec MacBook Pro 13.3, I stumbled upon an irresistible offer for a powerhouse MacBook Pro equipped with 1TB storage and 24GB of RAM. Without a second thought, I made the purchase and promptly returned the previous model that I purchased already upon its arrival. The speed and flawless performance of this MacBook Pro me. My affection for the touch bar, which Apple mysteriously discontinued, prompted me to upgrade to the same model. I traded in my old M1 and had been eyeing the M2 for an upgrade when, fortunately, Best Buy, my preferred store, offered it at an unbeatable price.
