!!Beware!! on “All” possible outdated Apple Laptops. They come with an old OS and depending on what year the laptop was made, it we’ll not let you update to the newest OS version. If your able to update to a “step above” the current OS that is on there, the laptop well run really slow. One laptop I received had MacOS Sierra “the latest version” couldn’t upgrade any higher then that. It wouldn’t even let me download basic apps, like MS Word. It said it was outdated and couldn’t download the app. Anything 7 years and older, apple considers as basically done. They won’t even make parts for those years and or support with OS issues. Most of the laptops on here are right around 7 years and older. Purchased 9/18/23.

The little known secret about Mac computers is that the newer ones are essentially unrepairable. I know one person who a few years ago bought a 2016 MacBook Pro for $3000. When, and eventually it will fail, she will certainly end up discarding and replacing it for $3000 or more--with no residual value. The newer Macs have obsolescence DESIGNED into them to maximize the profit to Apple! It now makes much more sense to purchase earlier models that are repairable. For this 2015 repairable upgradable MacBook I paid 25% of the cost of a new one. This vendor has been used for many years by those who make a living as high level, high clearance computer consultants.

This was the absolute worst thing I have ever purchased in my entire life. I have never bought anything refurbished before because I do not trust it. I really need a MacBook for school and do not have $1,000 to spend on one, so I came across this and it seemed like a good price. I saw the reviews, majority were bad but there were a few good ones so I gave it a try, and I absolutely regret every bit of it. It didn’t work, it said it needed an update so I updated it. It finished updating and turned on and then shut down and stayed on the black screen with the Apple on it for about almost 2 hours. So I turned it off and closed it. After that it wouldn’t turn back on. About almost an hour later I hear a humming sound and I looked for it and it was coming from the box. I open it and the computer is still somehow on and running. The computer was so hot that it had made the box hot, the wrapping hot, and my table hot. It was burning hot, as if I had been using it all day long and left it out in the car in 98 degree weather. I pressed and held the power button and it stopped, but again never turned on. Packed it back in the box and now I’m awaiting an email from the seller to return it.

Great deal, fast processor w/ good RAM, very happy
8 October 2023

I am so happy with my purchase of this refurbished MacBook Pro. It may not be the most current years model but it runs very well %26 I'm learning quickly how to use a Mac rather than a Windows laptop. I love the stability Apple’s are good for. Has just enough memory with a smaller SSD hard drive. I immediately bought an external 2tb hard drive %26 dvd/cd writable drive to go with it along with a USB hub to use my accessories. The system automatically upgraded me to Mac OS Monterey after I had it a couple of days so I’m up to date. Easy to use %26 get various accessories for. Great price too!

Great product, but bad packaging!!
4 August 2022

Based on the reviews and the reasonable price that was listed, I bought the listed computer! The MacBook Pro works smoothly and there is no evidence of dents or scratches. However, I do have a few concerns. First of all, the packaging was poorly done. There was only one layer of bubble wrap covering the computer, so it's still crazy to believe that no dents or scratches are visible. Second of all, there was extra products added in the package (such as a mouse and earbuds. There is also a charger, but there are no real problems with it.) The mouse was broken into several pieces once I took it out of the box due to poor packaging protection. The earbuds have VERY CHEAP QUALITY. I tried using them one time and I'm never going to use them again. The AI voice literally ... MoreBased on the reviews and the reasonable price that was listed, I bought the listed computer! LOL!Overall, this MacBook Pro is definitely worth the price. However, don't buy this for the extra products. Buy yourself a nice replacement that will actually work: any earbuds or mouse (whether it be Bluetooth or just a regular USB/headphone jack) will work great!Attached are a bunch of photos of what was sent to me. I hope this helps!- Anonymous

Overall a good buy
28 July 2023

Had to make a new Apple ID to get started, but other than that everything runs great and works perfect. One small dent on the edge of the computer is barely noticeable. The laptop cannot download the latest updates - but this does not mean it is completely obsolete as google stated. Which is what I was worried about when purchasing initially. The charger works and does not overheat. The screen is intact. The system runs with no issues or errors.Updated to latest Monterey version.Overall worth the price.

Overall good, had some software issue at first but was fixed by OWC Tech Support
3 June 2023

I got it and the machine looks in great shape and almost brand new with no issues. However, I couldn't get the OS to install correctly and I tried everything but nothing worked. I called their tech support and got a great guy who fixed the issue for me in 30 minutes. I'm up and running down and the computer seems excellent! I would buy from them again and I got a great machine that once I got past some initial startup problems but it's great now. Also got this computer for like $100 cheaper than anywhere else.

SO GLAD I WENT WITH THIS ONE!!
16 September 2022

WOW!! I was in the market for a Macbook for my Son's 13th Birthday. He's a good, smart kid and doing very well in school, so when he asked, I wanted to deliver! :)We have always been ADROID users so this is the first Apple product we've had besides Apple Airpods.1. There is NOTHING that would indicate that this is not a brand new Macbook! I mean there was NOT ONE scratch or dent on it. Period. I was VERY pleasantly surprised at that! It was also packaged very well and arrived timely. Also, since I see it keeps being mentioned, the charger came with it and it worked perfectly fine. No issues there.2. It's very thin and lightweight, but heavy enough to know it is quality. You can easily carry or move it with one hand.3. The large 15.4 inch screen was definitely a ... MoreWOW!! The large 15.4 inch screen was definitely a plus and the graphics were so clear that I felt I could literally touch what I was looking at.4. Performance was EXCELLENT and SMOOTH with ZERO lag or glitches. It runs fast and the keyboard has a good, heavy feel that makes it hard to hit the wrong keys. My Son is able to do everything he needs to for school as well as play games and SOOOOO MUCH MORE!5. This is DEFINITELY not the last Macbook we will purchase. My husband and I joked that we were jealous of our Son's and have both decided to get us one between now and Christmas. At this price, I definitely didn't expect to get as much as we did and the whole family can have their own. I will continue to use ANDROID phones, but my next Laptop and tablet will be a Macbook. my Son is VERY happy and as a parent, I couldn't ask for a better gift for a milestone birthday! BRAVO!

So Far So Good, but big Nay on OS X Monterey
3 March 2022

I recently bought a Macbook Pro 2015 '15 from you guys. So far so good, great work. I also really like the packaging. My one critique in building these out is, please don't install them with OS X Monterey. I couldn't USB/Bluetooth tether, many of my apps didn't work. Also I hate the interface, it's like Disney bought Apple - hate it. I bought a Macbook PRO -- as in professional. I can't stand this Playskooling consumerfication of operating systems. Monterey is all bubbly and filled with extra needless margin space which makes working laptop space incredibly cumbersome. It's just awful and I will avoid with Charlton Heston gun-toting fervor. I would advise to please install at Catalina or something and give user the option to upgrade as it's easier to upgrade than ... MoreI recently bought a Macbook Pro 2015 '15 from you guys. Was not as described/advertised
13 August 2023

I received this item later than expected, when I received it. The packaging was minimal to say the least. Wrap with only one thin layer of bubble wrap no filler in the box to keep from bouncing around in the box. The laptop was installed with a newer OS which made the laptop not able to process/operate properly. This was my first time buying refurbished, I would NOT do it again. This was a lemon. It came with a pair of fake airPods and used mouse, which I put back in the box to return.
