I have had to replace this sub-woofer twice with Mackie just after the 45 Day return under my year warranty. Either I'm extremely unlucky or there is a problem with this system. The first one work intermittently and the second one just stopped working in less than two weeks. Awaiting my third and second replacement. Originally purchased on purchased on 12/4/2017. They may have some bugs to fix.

I was told that I didn't need a subwoofer for mixing. Nothing is further than the truth. This subwoofer gives me great balance of sound in my room. My lows or much tighter and I don't have to go back and forth to the car to check out my mixes anymore. Great product!!!!!
I cant believe this subwoofer sounds as good as anything costing three and four times much. I was prepared to spend quite a bit more money but in the end decided to give the Mackie a try. No regrets here. Simply fabulous.
I added this sub to my pair of MR524. All that I had to do was to adjust the crossover a bit. It blends so well with the rest of the audio spectrum. I had the krk10s as well the presonus T10 temblor before. I am very happy with what I am hearing out of the MRS10. Looks like Mackie's thought process behind this sub worked out pretty well because you won't see flattering specs w.r.t freq response or wattage but it excelled when it actually came to its performance. Used some Richard Elliot's tracks to tune it and sure enough I am a happy man. I am pretty sure, the sound would open up even more after a bit of burn in. Go for it and you won't regret it.
Slaps harder than my mum
Great speaker. Great service.
So glad to have some monitors again, after some idiot blew my previous ones up. They are smaller than those I’ve had before, but suit my needs perfectly.I’ve only had a few hours use so far.The imaging is splendid. The build quality is very good. The bass response is pretty big (And I have it reduced as they’re in quarter-space)I don’t imagine them to be fatiguing judging by the freq. response. The mid response is really pleasing too, clarity is good where often sacrificed in this area.Top end response is good, but to be expected with the soft-cone tweeter design.I like the understated design and compact size.Overall, really pleased. I’d buy them again if I had to.So I need to say something negative just for the sake of it. I bought one brand new from Guitar Center that completely failed within a couple weeks. Mackie customer service was the worst I've ever had to contact. After over a month they finally sent a replacement which was a refurbished unit. That unit failed completely in under a week. Customer service out did themselves again and stopped replying to my emails which I kept cordial despite wanting to tell them off. They refused to refund me, guitar center refused to refund me as well because of the time that had lapsed and I did not buy the extended warranty. Mackie finally sent me a third replacement unit, which appears brand new but I am keeping it in the box in hopes of selling it for half price. I bought the KRK 10 inch which performs wonderfully and even sounds better ... MoreI bought one brand new from Guitar Center that completely failed within a couple weeks.
