I bought 6 of these umbrellas (one for each member of the family). I was assured at the Macpac store that they would resist wind and weather, however they are not wind proof.I am disappointed (having bought 6). For an umbrella priced $60 and above, I feel they would be more value for money had they been more sturdy, especially in the wind.

Rain gets through.Rust on the umbrella arms. Not something you would expect from a $50 umbrella, on had it for less than 6 months and haven't used it all that much. Very disappointing.I'll go to Kathmandu next time.

Had for 5 minutes and it took one puff of wind and it blew inside out and broke .. what a waste of $55 .. Ending up getting a $10 from The Warehouse and it has lasted all through winter and spring so far.
