Juicy and tender. I regularly buy scotch fillet thin slices. First try this grass feed rump steak and is out of expectation, it’s so tender and rich of taste of beef. The price per kg is even lower than the scotch fillet. I bought the normal rump steak for comparison. The price per kg is 28/kg while the Marco grass feed one is 33. 33/kg. The taste of beef in this sample is stronger. Both of them are juicy. Will shift my regular buy to this macro steak series. Thank you Bunch for giving me this wonderful sample.

Lean, moist & tender. I was pleasantly surprised by this steak. I usually buy Scotch fillet. This was moist, tasty and very tender. I seasoned with salt and pepper and spread a small amount oil on & pan cooked it lightly, served it with chips and salad. I added a little garlic butter before serving. The flavour was great. Would buy again. Good price for 300g.

Tender & Tasty! I used mine in a basic traditional steak sandwich. This did not disappoint. (was enough to make 2 steak sandwiches)The steak was absolutely beautiful, super tender and very juicy. I cooked the steak medium just in a heated fry pan. It almost melted in my mouth when I was eating it it was that tender. I had my daughter try this and she commented on how tender and juicy it was. So I would have to say it was a winner in our household. The price was $10. 00 for 300g which I feel is a good price. The bonuses for me besides the steak being so juicy and tender was it's Australian Grown, hormone free and the tray that the steak sits in is 100% recyclable. Would I purchase this again. Most definitely I would!

Tender and tasty. This was a very tasty piece of meat. From first open it was better than cheaper rumps as it did not have that unpleasant meat smell other packaged meat often has. It smelt like fresh meat. cooked beautifully minimal fat was very juicy and flavourful and tender for a piece of rump. the packaging appears to be less plastic which is a nice bonus. It’s is on the more expensive side for a rump but that’s because it’s grass feed so when comparing similar as in grass fed beef rumps it is good value

Excellent Quality. My reviews are usually filled with jokes, but honestly? This was damn tasty. Bit of salt, pepper, and butter, and boom: delicious dinner. I will note that the packaging says 'fully recyclable', but half of it is that weird plastic you have to return to the store. Personally, I don't consider that properly recyclable, considering it doesn't go in the yellow bin. Other than that, yum!

A Great Rump Steak. The Macro Grass Fed Beef Rump Steak is an exceptional choice for meat lovers. Its grass-fed origin is evident in the rich, robust flavor and tender texture of the steak. The meat cooks beautifully, whether grilled, pan-seared, or broiled, retaining its juiciness and depth of flavor. It's a healthier option too, with a noticeable difference in quality compared to regular steaks. This steak is perfect for a special dinner or a nutritious family meal. Highly recommended for those who appreciate premium quality and taste in their beef.

Pick a good cut. There was varying quality amongst the different packs on the shelf - some had huge slabs of fat, others seemed to be two different portions of rump pushed together, rather than a single cut of meat. I picked the best I could find, and it was a very nice piece of beef - tender and smelled very fresh. It's a bit on the pricey side, especially if you end up with one of the less good cuts. My advice is to choose selectively. Partially recyclable and good food miles.

Tender As. Well I must be honest I have never tried the Macro label before so to my surprise it cooked up a treat. The packaging was vacuum sealed, a bonus in the packaging the paper tray is recyclable. The expiration date was good also. I was impressed to see that it is the steak was from grass fed cattle from Australian free range pastures, where they roam, and graze on these pastures their entire life. So with my piece of steak I decided to make a couple of Teriyaki steak rice bowls, I prefer my steak medium. I decided to pan fry very carefully without over cooking it. Upon slicing it into thin slices you could clearly see it to be juicy, the knife just easly gliding through. So delicious. $10 for 300g of rump steak is not too bad a deal all things considered. Each piece is individually packaged on a piece of cardboard and vacuum sealed with plastic over the top. It was easy to open the packaging, and the cardboard can be rinsed and recycled. The steak was lean, so really not much fat on it. Seasoned it well and threw it straight on the BBQ. Didn't take long to cook as it's a thinner cut of rump, but cooked medium rare and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing. It was perfection, so soft and juicy, and flavour was spot on. Very happy with this product, would buy again. Thank you Bunch for the sample!

Great quality. I was impressed with the appearance of the Macro rump steak - red, fresh looking, no visible marbling and very minimal fat. Overall appealing. I do like a good steak, so was looking forward to trying it. And I like Macro products. I pan fried the steak - plain, no oil or seasoning, so I could taste the meat only. Cooked at room temperature on low heat, the meat cooked to perfection as I like it (medium) It was tender and juicy- no toughness or water filled fry pan as with rump steak I've tried previously. I will buy this brand of rump as long as the quality is consistent.
