I really wanted to love this product especially as it was a bit of an investment to buy. The main issue is how overwhelmingly sweet and chemical it is. The recommended dose is 2 scoops in 500-750ml water giving 12g protein. This was way too sweet - I just couldnāt drink it. I did one scoop in 750ml but still found it unpalatable and sweet (I normally have a huge sweet tooth) and with only 2g of protein in each 250ml glass it was a lot of volume to consume for not much extra protein. To get through 1.5l of fluid I didnāt enjoy the taste of to get 12g of extra protein wasnāt worth it. Logistically cheaper and easier to have something like a hard boiled egg. Love the idea but itās just not great. Also the company that makes it sent a bunch of unsolicited emails. This is a great flavour to release. I have enjoyed all the water flavours so far, but this one definitely tops them for me. I look forward to the flavour range building in the future. Something like lemon/lime would be awesome or sour cherry. :)

I ordered the Pink Lemonade flavour and it's just bad. Tastes super artificial and it's also way too strong. I'm surprised it has such a good flavour rating! Apple blackcurrant sounds yum but it has a worse rating than Pink Lemonade so not sure if I'll risk it haha.
It mixes/dissolves well and I love the added probiotics and vitaminsā¦ but I find it way too sweet and over bearing. It is so so sickly sweet tasting and smelling. Iām not a huge fan of the stevia taste either. I double if not triple the recommended amount of water so I can drink it and itās still not enjoyable at all. I was expecting this to be my fave flavour but itās easily the worst for me. The apple blackcurrant would be my recommendation over pink lemonade. But all the protein water have the same awful stevia taste that lingers in the mouth for ages. Iāll stick with Mikes shakes instead.
I really wanted to love this but was a bit underwhelmed with the taste it wasnāt quite the grape I was expecting! In saying that itās not horrible, itās palatable and Iāve definitely had worse protein waters.
Love the long handled scoop. But Itās way too sweet. Iāve tried a few ways to drink it to make it less sickly sweet but havenāt found a way. Iāve stuck it in the cupboard
Pink lemonade - Way too sweet to drink. The consistency was surprisingly good though (thin like water). Diluting it isn't really an option as a single serving is already quite a large volume (recommended serving size makes 750ml - 1.5L). I'm going to throw it away. If they ever manage to make a flavourless one I'd be keen.
I really wanted to like this. I'm vegetarian, an endurance athlete, older and I struggle with getting enough protein so it would be ideal to top up by drinking extra flavoured water. The product has got a cute packet, and pink lemonade sounds mmm. I didn't find it mmmm. It dissolves well, isn't overly coloured when in the glass, but...it's not for me. And I'm not sure I'm going to be brave enough to try a different brand in a hurry either, it's taking a lot of effort to get through the expensive bag. I'd say...buy a sample first, if it works for you, great, it's such a cool idea!
I so wanted to like this product, the initial flavour is yum- but if you dont drink it immediately, it gets this horrible taste come through & it stains waterbottles with that funky smell too. It doesnt seem to digest in my stomach either, hours later that funny taste keeps coming up. I found the other flavours did this too, but I hoped it was just a āflavourā issue. But its obi something to do with the āprotein waterā product overall. So now i have multiple bags of the protein waters thatll go to waste, as ill have to just stick with the milky-shakes instead. (At least the milkshakes are the BEST!)
