Love these. Chia seeds are such a great, healthy little seed that are quite versatile and easy to use. I like to eat them for breakfast by soaking a serve (around 15 grams) in a bowl covered with water, almond milk, coconut milk or liquid of your choice, in the fridge overnight them mixing in some blueberries and yoghurt right before eating. They are very deceptive and a little swells up to be quite a lot and very filling. I also use in cakes instead of poppy seeds and add them when I make prune and nut balls or to a smoothie or protein shake. You can also soak them in liquid and use instead of eggs. They really don't have any taste but are so healthy being full of fibre, omega 3 fats and antioxidants. This is a great packet size of 300 grams as a little goes a long ... MoreLove these. A winner in my book and a great way to make gluten free breakfasts and snacks.

Versatile. I came to chia seeds later in life but have since embraced them. They can be used as an egg replacement in vegan cooking, especially muffins and I find them handy to have in the pantry. My most common usage is the ubiquitous chia pudding as its quick, easy and tasty. I like the crunch. My junior taste tester likes the pudding and thinks the seeds are pieces of chocolate..... These are well priced and easy to find although often sold out. They are packed in Australia but there are no details on their country of origin..

Good For Me. I must admit I’ve had these on the bench looking at me for a while now, a bit unsure how to use them. I looked at other reviews for inspiration. Bunchees have added some to yoghurt and/or milk and left in the fridge overnight so thought I’d give that a whirl. I thought about flavours so added some vanilla then after tasting I added some honey and a spoon of icing sugar…yup a sweet tooth. This is what it looked like all mixed up. I wasn’t sure how many chia seeds to add so, thinking they would expand and absorb the liquid like rice or tapioca, I added one and a half teaspoons. Covered and popped in the fridge overnight. Well, I thought it would be thick and that I would spoon some into a bowl to have with my stewed rhubarb On the upside it was a lovely ... MoreGood For Me. I’ll keep experimenting as I know these are good for me.

Healthy Chia Seeds are so versatile. The mild nutty flavour works well in smoothies or to add to breakfast. In fact, it blends well with many sweet and savoury dishes so it is so versatile. These chia seeds offer many health benefits. They add fibre which can improve heart health, lower cholesterol levels, promote intestinal health, help with weight loss and decrease risk of developing diabetes. Well worth purchasing to improve your health..
A healthy breakfast option. This is the first time that we've tried chia seeds. We ate them at breakfast time sprinkled on muesli and wheat biscuits. We made chia puddings with vanilla yoghurt and honey... delicious and filling! They don't have much flavour in themselves but they absorb flavour from other sources eg dairy and non-dairy milks, vanilla or honey yoghurt. We discovered that only a small amount of chia seeds is required, because as they absorb the milk they expand and become quite substantial. These black chia seeds are packed in Australia from imported product but I'd like to know where they're produced.
Healthy addition to many recipes. These are located in the health food aisle along with all the other macro products, with the familiar purple writing which denotes the organic range. Chia seeds come in black or white with no significant nutritional difference. These seeds are derived from the Salvia Hispanica plant, which is a member of the mint family. Being organic these are grown without synthetic pesticides and have the ACO certified organic stamp. These seeds have a huge nutritional value. Once added to liquid they swell up, so it’s very important to drink a lot of fluids when eating chia seeds. These are a great substitute for eggs for vegan cooking …. 1 tablespoon of chia to 2. 5 tablespoons of water will give you a chia egg. I use chia in all my baking and regularly making puddings for breakfasts. I have always bought the white ones, for no particular reason, but was very happy with these. I used them in the base and topping of my yoghurt slice. Retailing at $6. 60 for a 300 g packet, and a fabulous 5 star health rating. Thank you bunch for the fabulous sample, i will continue to purchase macro chia seeds of either colour.
A Nutritious Addition to My Daily Routine. I've been incorporating chia seeds into my diet for some time now. When I received this sample, I was excited to try it out. As expected, these chia seeds blended seamlessly into my NutriBullet smoothies, providing a boost of nutrients and a satisfying texture. I appreciated the convenience of the zip-top packaging. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of these chia seeds and would recommend them to anyone looking for a healthy and versatile ingredient.
Healthy addition to your diet. I’ve used macro organic black chia seeds in my cooking for a few years now and love that they are a healthy addition to my diet. A little bit goes a long way so rhey’re a great staple in the pantry and the resealable packaging allows for easy storage. I generally use chia seeds in my Bircher muesli and occasionally when making a quick pot of raspberry jam or Chia pudding. Convenient and easy to use with great health benefits.
Health benefits galore! I was late to the chia seed bandwagon. But learned to love it overtime. Loaded with nutrients and perfect ingredient for breakfast, a snack, or dessert. Made a creamy seriously delicious, naturally sweetened chocolate pudding using the Macro chia seeds. Was soooooo easy to whip up which I made the night before for a decadent breakfast. Looking forward to my next creative nutritious indulgence!
Review by a Chia seed novice. Not a regular consumer of chia seeds. Found a chia pudding recipe and had it with some fruits, tastes ok perhaps a bit like sago. The recipe was easy. 2 Tbsps chia seeds, 125ml milk of your choice, 2tsps maple syrup. Mix and leave overnight. I would definitely make again. However I have a motto of not eating items just because they are healthy more importantly they should make me happy eating it.
