Fudgy Chocolate Brownies. Finally had a reason to bake, grandson visiting. I have been wanting to use the Macro Organic Cacao Powder I received a while back. I used https://www. woolworths. com. au/shop/recipes/fudgy-chocolate-brownies. Although not a specific product link recipe, I substituted the lovely Cacao Powder and it worked fine. It is a very good simple recipe, although I do wonder about the sugar content but what would brownies be with out sugar. If anyone has another brownie recipe using the Cacao powder I hope you will share.

Nice Coco Substitute. Definitely a good pantry staple to have on hand. It's a nice coco substitute. I liked the flavor and texture when mixed with warm milk for a nice cozy winter drink. Hot chocolate with caffeine. I had to search the internet for what to use this for as there's no directions on the packet. I made a hot chocolate: 1tbs cacao powder, 1tbs maple syrup, 1 cup hot milk. It was ordinary. I imagine this product would replace cocoa in recipes but it's a slightly more expensive option apparently containing caffeine and antioxidants. I always wanted to try it, now I have. When I finish the packet I'll assess if I want more.

Loved this! I find Macro cacao powder not as rich as other brands, but I think it's worth noting that it's organic with no artificial colours, flavours, and 5-star health rating. Also, the packaging has a zip lock seal for easier storage without taking up too much space. Personally, I love Macro cacao because it's not heavy, so I can adjust it to my personal sweetness, chocolate and creaminess. I recently tried adding black large pearl tapioca, milk and sweetener and it has become my new favorite

Great chocolate taste. The organic cacao powder has a rich chocolate flavour and is a great substitute for normal cocoa powder. As the package suggests it’s natures dark chocolate - a great healthy alternative! I have used it in smoothies, milkshake, bliss balls, chocolate slice and many other things- it’s very versatile. This has a 5 star health rating and contains antioxidants, iron and magnesium. It is sourced from rainforest alliance certified farms in the Dominican Republic and is packed in Australia. Ingredients are just organic cacao powder. Bag is plastic so at present unable to be recycled in my local area. Overall a great versatile cacao powder to add that chocolate flavour to whatever you choose. I have purchased in the past and would again.

Love it! I was super stoked to try the Macro Organic Cacao Powder as I have been looking unsuccessfully for quite a while to find an alternative to another brand I picked up a while ago and haven't been able to find since. I love Cacao as it is high in Iron and I can use it in different recipes and (at least pretend) they are healthy!I made a batch of brownies and added the Macro Organic Cacao Powder into the mix. They were super dense and decadent! Cacao is definitely the way to go over Cocoa but you have to be prepared for a stronger flavour. I'd definitely grab this again. The price is quite decent for what you are getting as Cacao is usually more expensive. (P. s my husband insisted on some Lotus Biscoff brownies so we made half half )

Yum. I usually buy Cadbury cocoa for the nice flavour however I was very surprised by the flavour of this Cacao and will now buy this instead. Artificial colour, flavour and preservative free. Vegetarian. Vegan. Gluten Free. Comes in a ziplock bag and is a fantastic price. You cannot go wrong with this product. Today I made some double chocolate cookies with this Cocao. They were delicious.

Powdery. I have not used cacao too much in my cooking before so I was a little unsure how to use it. After reading a few comments, I decided I could add it to my overnight oats and put some in a fruit smoothie. Both of these uses ended up with a delicious addition of a chocolaty flavour and based on the wording on the packaging, this is packed full of healthy goodness. It seems cacao powder has many more uses, so I would recommend this product to everyone looking for such an ingredient. I cant wait to test it out it in a few more dishes!

Transform your healthy treaties! PRODUCT: Good taste and not too bitter. In general cacao powder can be slightly more bitter than cocoa powder but I enjoyed this macro product. Great mixed in with oats and chia seeds for breakfast, or used in baking and chocolate flavoured treats! I also used it to make a hot chocolate with hot water, a splash of soy/oat milk and dash of maple syrup - it was yum!PACKAGING: Standard Macro brand packaging. The zip lock kept the cacao fresh, without having to transfer it to another container. PURCHASE AGAIN?: It’s a bit more expensive than Cocoa, but so are most other brands. When I’m after some Cacao powder rather than Cocoa powder, I would buy this again!

Intriguingly good and feels healthy when you eat. I must be honest, I didn't realise there was a difference between cacao and cocoa before I picked up the packet. This little useful titbit of information was right on the pack and I went 'Ah! I see!'Anyway my curiosity got the better of me and I took a teaspoonful and tried it straight out of the packet and the bitterness was just intense but the sweet chocolaty aftertaste kicked in soon after. This definitely feels way healthier than a sweetened cocoa powder. I tried drizzling some on some ice cream later and it was absolutely divine. Can't wait to put it in some smoothies and try too! I strongly recommend this to those who want the dark chocolaty taste but healthier.
