Affordable and creamy. I much prefer natural products and organic if not too expensive but I can't always afford to buy them. I was very happy to be given a generous pack (500g) of Certified Organic natural Cashew nuts, thanks to Bunch. I know the product is not Australian but most of the organic Cashews in the shops are from Vietnam though there are some from Queensland and Darwin. I buy unsalted roast cashews for snacking and natural cashews for cooking. They could be used in so many ways: crushed and added to cakes or as sprinkles on desserts for to add a crunchy texture, to salads, ground and used to thicken and add creaminess to a curry sauce or soup, in Chinese stir-fry. For me, the resealable packet is an added bonus especially for a 500g pack which can last for a reasonable while. It's definitely more expensive than the general cashews we buy but affordable organics if that's what you go for.

Quality Organic. I usually purchase the Macro Cashews and so being able to try their Organic Cashews made for an interesting comparison. They are easy to find in the nut and dried fruit isle, with the vibrant purple âcertified organicâ banner. Compared to Macro Natural Cashews, these organic ones are quite a bit more expensive at $15/500gram packet (vs $12/500gram packet). They are grown in Vietnam and packaged in Australia . The only ingredient is cashew nuts - no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives - and gluten free. The nuts themselves are full and large in size. A very good organic option (but, of course, at an organic price).

Being natural you can do anything with them, roast, bake, blitz etcI used them in a salad ( along side gf homemade kfc) in both a natural state and a sautĂŠ state.... the sautĂŠ state they went soft but after cooling down firmed back up. From what I know about cashews they have quite a high magnesium content which is great for the body. Would I purchase again, maybe when I needed to use cashews in a natural state then yes! But we prefer roasted or roasted and salted as we love the roasted flavour and the work is already done. Crossing fingers that I can get around to making some cashew cheese with the rest soon

Healthy but I prefer them salted. I received these as my bunchiversary sample and was quite happy to get a nut sample! I have tried these before and although cashews are one of my favourite nuts, these do taste a tad plain Being natural, unroasted, unsalted, I find them quite healthy but I definitely prefer my cashews with a bit of salt. Fortunately we had some roasted, salted cashews in the house which were actually over salted so mixing in these natural cashews helped to spread the salt around Crunchy but not so much, they were soft and natural in texture. Pale in colour compared to the roasted ones we had at home. Easy to tear open pack initially. Regular presentable macro organic branding â 250g for $7. 80 is extremely pricey and must have something to do with the organic aspect of it. Also comes in a larger size which I think I have tried before. Probably wonât buy these in the future as I prefer my nuts salted but thanks bunch for gifting me this sample
Very ordinary cashews. Itâs no secret I love macro products but this sample left me underwhelmed. 500gm of organic cashews is a fantastic sample but they were not what I wouldâve expected. Like serendipity, I found an odd odour upon opening the bag, but Iâm not sure if it was the plastic packaging, as after having the nuts in a bowl for awhile I couldnât detect it. A good sized nut, but they were a tad bland, and softer than I have previously had. Took a few times to to retrieve the sample as they werenât in the obvious health food aisle with other macro products and unfortunately the staff couldnât find them either, eventually staff found them in the baking aisle. ACO certified organic 4. 5 HSRNo artificial flavours, colours or preservatives. Produced in Vietnam but packed in Australia The bag does advertise they are a CRUNCHY solution to a snack attack but unfortunately theyâve lost their crunch. These will be fine for baking and I made caramel and cashew brownies, but my daughter said she didnât even know there were any nuts in, as they were so soft. I did roast the nuts which picked up the flavour a tad. An easy source of protein, and for the covid fatigue some magnesium to give us a pick up .
Love it. My wife uses this for roasting and adding to salads and some many other dishes she makes. We won't go back to any other brand. The nuts have fragrant sweetness and are so clean and fresh. And just tasty to eat raw but try roasting them with some oil and add your salad a va va room. . Our go to product when we run out. Thanks for the sample. Cant go wrong with this product and its a generous size bag too I think for what you pay.

It is good having clear plastic to see the product inside the bag. The bag also has a magic-seal but I find them superfluous as I always tips nuts into my own glass storage jars. (Having a magic-seal also increases the cost of bags and manufacture of them negatively effects the environment more than bags without seals.... so I prefer not to have them at all). I'm glad this was a free sample for me because I would not have paid that much for 500g of nuts. - Very happy they were organic and UNSALTED! - Good size pieces. Some whole. Some broken. halves- They had a good crunch and a mild flavour Overall: Wouldn't buy again at that price. Too expensive for my budget and I don't think they warranted that high a pricetag. I have given these 4 out of 5 stars because I liked the quality but not the price.
Cashew from Vietnam has a history of forced labour. These natural cashew are perfect kidneys shape and felt fresh when you eat it. It has a sweet buttery flavour to it. I love that it is not salted as it allows you to use them for cooking and also eat them as a snack. The packaging is great as you can see the product you are buying. The neutral colours are great blend and is not overpowering. These are from Vietnam, it is the worldâs largest producer of cashew nuts with 37 per cent total share of the entire global market. Many Vietnamese cashew nuts are reportedly farmed and produced by captured drug addicts. Good cooked. Very happy to get organic cashews! They come in the usual Macro bag with the convenient resealable top. The cashews were mostly whole and unblemished but there were some with obvious spots and discolouration. I was going to collect the substandard specimens and line them up for a group photo but by the time I got round to it, they had disappeared having been swallowed by Sample Tester who was oblivious to their defects (this is what happens when you eat nuts by the handful and throw them into your mouth without looking!)The cashews had a very mild creamy taste and were softer than Iâd have liked which made them feel less than fresh. Cooking them in a stir-fry brought out their flavour. Roasting them would add both flavour and crunch. The cashews are from Vietnam which is one of the top producers in the world. Unfortunately cashew production in Australia is very small. The HSR is 4. 5 not 5 like many other raw nuts as it has a higher saturated fat content (twice that of almond, for example). The price of $15 for 500g ($30/kg) seems to be around the average for raw organic cashews. We do buy organic products when the quality is good and the price not too eye-watering but the quality here is not really good enough for the price. The cashews lacked enough crunch, freshness and flavour to be enjoyed raw but they would be fine cooked or roasted.
Not worth increased price just for the label of 'organic'. I will begin by saying that the cashews were fresh and tasted fine, although too bland for my personal taste (I prefer salted), and I appreciated that they came in a resealable bag to help keep them fresh after opening. They are a good snack to have on hand as-is and because of higher fat content, they also help with satiety. However, they were located in the baking aisle which confused me, and I only found them by happenstance. I had been expecting them to be with the other larger bags of nuts, or the health food aisle given that it says 'macro' and 'organic'When checking that I had found the correct product, I looked at the price and just about swore.... $15 for half a kilo?! I couldn't figure out why on earth a 500g bag was more expensive per kg then the same item that even has an extra ingredient of salt! Then I realised that this has the label of 'organic', so of course it was more expensive. Personally, I find this to be a rip off considering that there is no official guidelines on what constitutes a food item as 'organic'. We are just supposed to trust and believe that items are 'organic', and that they are coming from farms that have higher expenditures because of this, and therefore the item must cost more for the consumer. This is why I only gave it 2 stars. I simply find it wrong to charge extra (up to $7 extra per kg) for an item simply because it is labelled as organic (which again, could mean anything). Perhaps others have more faith and trust in food labeling, but at $15 a packet I won't be buying these again when they taste exactly the same as cashews $7/kg cheaper. Prices of items are a huge sticking point for me as to if I will purchase again, and what I think of a product- higher the price, the more I expect in terms of quality in comparison to the same item that is cheaper
