Wins a spot in my pantry! I really love Macro products. They are generally of very high quality, nutritious, healthy and reasonably priced. This tahini has a nice bottle, good combination of colours in the label, 4. 5 stars, made in Australia, jar completely recyclable. Easy to open, lovely smell (I am a big fan of sesame seeds) very creamy consistency. I mixed it with apple cider vinegar (2 tablespoons each) and spread it on a wrapper. You could use it as a dressing in your salad too, making it more liquid by adding more apple cider vinegar. The taste is quite strong and not everybody will like it, but I find it perfect! Another way I tried it is by making hummus and also by mixing it with cream cheese (1 teaspoon tahini for 1 tablespoon cream cheese). Great with ... MoreWins a spot in my pantry! Being unhulled this tahini is a little more bitter than the hulled version, and coarser too, but it's surely healthier and less processed. A product that absolutely wins a spot in my pantry!

Heavy on the plus side. Hulled or unhulled, it makes no difference to me as I love tahini. I expected it to taste bitter and raw being unhulled, but it wasn’t at all. In fact, I’ve come across other brands of hulled (I assume) tahini that carried a definite bitter taste. More on the plus side, it’s cheaper than some brands, it’s organic, it contains no additives and it’s made in Australia albeit of imported ingredients. Happy with it.

Great Tahini. Tahini is a acquired taste. Me I love it, I can use it straight up on bread or toast or I drizzle on any dish. Make a salad dressing Tahini, lemon juice, sumac and a little water to thin it out. Its a healthy dressing that goes a long way with a nutty flavour. Mix with hummus to give it a stronger flavour and drizzle with olive oil and a sprinkle of sumac or chilli or a little sesame oil and you've just transformed a plain hummus. I love that it is organic and an affordable price. I will continue to buy.

Something different and pleasantly surprised. It was great to get a product that I don't normally buy. I found the product easily in the Organics section - shelves. Packaging is good with the visual of what the product looks like inside. Love the clear "Organic" wording on the front of the jar. Self explanatory description along with ingredients listed from overseas ... but not everything can come from Australia. I also did some research on what you can make from Tahini, and have now tried a couple of recipes - very pleasantly surprised on how it tasted within a cookie mixture, and then a dip. It has a slight bitterness to it, but that makes it all the more interesting. I really appreciated it as a sample and it was great to talk to other family and friends about, as it is not a common item that is on everyones shoppign list. Thanks Woolies.

I am too spoilt for this. I make my own, and fresh is definitely nicer. The jar is a bit pokey to 'stir' through, so did the dip and drag. I much prefer it when the oil is on top as it also works as a germ barrier. Very nice to see in commercial brands. Easy to find on the shelf. the label is a very attractive design. Jar size is good although if you are looking to change... go for a squatter jar so stirring though is easier. My birdie who is a sesame seed connoisseur tried it and even she thought it passed and she is very, very particular about her sesame seeds!

Nice. Never quite sure how to use tahini, but found this tastes quite nice. I have tried it spread on toast in place of peanut butter which isn't too bad, and even got more adventurous trying it in a salad dressing recipe also using maple syrup which actually turned out quite delicious. I think I like the unhulled version of tahini better than hulled due to the texture but they are both great products. Will have fun exploring new ways to use it :)

Healthy and Versatile. I love Macro Organic Unhulled Tahini. It is 100% roasted sesame seeds, unhulled, nothing added, No Artificial Colours, Flavours or Preservatives. It is ACO Certified and has a 4. 5 HSR. I use it as a butter substitute on toast with tomatoes, cheese or other toppings. I use it in hommus, vegie patties, also as a dressing for salads or vegetables mixed with Balsamic and lemon juice. This Macro Organic Unhulled Tahini is made in Australia from imported sesame seeds. It comes in a glass jar with a metal lid, both of which are reusable or recyclable. This was not a sample.

Versatile little seed! Tahini has not been my favourite spread yet I’ve always loved it in hummus - for this sample I wanted to find something different! How about gluten free tahini chocolate chip biscuits?? I tasted a bit of the tahini first to get the feel of the flavour and I wasn’t sold - a bitter aftertaste hmmmm. But! This recipe is really simple and the result benefits from the depth of flavour that the tahini brings. https://theloopywhisk. com/2019/06/06/tahini-chocolate-chip-cookies/. This tahini paste is already on the shopping list. Despite wishing they were Aussie grown, apparently our fledgling sesame seed (and other spices like cumin) industry is in its early stages so watch that space!

Unhulled. Please stir before use (just like peanut butter spread that is organic) It is mentioned on the bottle also. I love most things about this tahini spread except for the texture and strength of the unhulled sesame seeds. I used it on my roll but didn't love this product as much as another branded hulled tahini spread. I won't be buying this option of tahini spread.
