So I seen the commercials a long time ago when T.V was still a thing. Never did I expect to be this unhappy. I got a Ninja on offer up and the blade got dull so I decided to try a Bullet. both products where brand new. Hands down the Ninja kicks rump and Bullet can't cut it literally. I'm drinking my smoothie now with strings of celery in my mouth and I am so grossed out I had to write a review while I was experiencing this distastful outcome. I don't like to have large pieces of veggies in my cup, small pulp is fine. Kale, celery, beets, spinach, pineapple, carrots, apples and banana with a spoonful of sugar per cup. thats how I get my vitamins but I rather not taste the things I cannot stand to taste like celery strings. I was really excited to use it and opted to start with the strawberry Banana recipe from the booklet.(followed it exactly as stated) The unit worked great on the first blend. He's going to send me the EXACT same blade that I have right now. Yes. the one that can only be used with crushed ice, because you have to purchase an upgraded blade, which I refuse to do. Needless to say, I've wasted my money on a product and company that TOTALLY misrepresented itself. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS UNIT.
This blender is great for quick and easy single use. Very convenient to be able to pull this little, but powerful bullet out and blend my morning smoothie. I also have a larger blender which works great, it's just a headache to, it's so big I have to pull it to the edge of my counter b/c it is too tall to fit on back side of it for hitting the cabinet above my countertop. So I was having to tug it all around-the-kitchen to use it. So I have found myself going for my Magic Bullet every morning, and with ease I might ad. I have even made fresh guacamole and salsa with this bullet and it hasn't missed a beat. The negative reviews is because you are not suppose to use the blender for more than 1 minute or the motor heats up and can melt the plastic casings holding the blades and burn the motors. And for blenders. PUT water or drink and do not overfill pass the maximum to blend the fruits. The most important is put water so the blending can float the blended up and should blend smoothly in less than 30 seconds. Repeat do not keep the motor for mor than 1 minute MAX and if no water do not fill can pass the max level or put water or fruit juice to blend quickly. like any product read the instructions. and the instruction manual should have instructions of using the product for the few who don't know how t o use the product.
