They are controlled using 2 buttons on the top of the machine.Operation is simple. Open the upper lever and insert a fresh capsule. Don't forget to put a cup under the dispenser! Closing the lever (pressing hard) adjusts the casing and punctures it to allow water to pass through. Then you choose the required portion size - button LH for espresso, button RH for lungo. The drink is dispensed immediately. We love the variety of coffee pods.

Bought to replace a broken machine. In comparison the new machine is much easier to use and looks to be made much better. It’s a good size and helps having the option to place a larger cup on the stand. I am very happy with it.

After my Magimix Essenza mini stopped piercing pods I decided to repurchase. And chose the Citiz. It is larger than my previous machine and delivers slightly larger drinks. It is very efficient and works well with Nespresso pods and the compatible dupes.. It makes tasty coffee.The machine is easy to clean and maintain. It fits easily into a small space.. very pleased so far!!
