This is my all time favorite fragrance AND my husbands. He bought me my first bottle when we got together, and now he just recently bought me a brand new bottle of their new size the 1.2oz (more budget friendly 195$) and I’m smelling it on me right now. Theirs absolutely nothing like the original. You can say that their is, but I guarantee you it’s not. I just recently got a new bottle from my husband for our one year wedding anniversary, and I am stoked to own a new bottle once again! A lot of people say that you go nose blind to it, and although that may be true to some people, I can always smell it on me. I always catch whiffs of it throughout the day. The formula hasn’t changed. The formula smells and lasts just as long as the first bottle I got a year and a half ago, so don’t believe the rumors. It’s such a one of a kind beautiful fragrance. I don’t care if Alt makes a dupe. I don’t care if perfume company makes a dupe, I refuse to own them. When you buy a dupe, your missing out on the whole experience of the true baccarat. If you can’t afford it? SAVE UP FOR THE REAL THING! Don’t waste your 40$ on a wannabe. Those 40$ bottles you buy of the dupe, you can save those 40$ and within a month you will have enough money to purchase you an actual bottle of the real thing! Take my advice, theirs nothing like the real thing. I’m not rich, but baccarat is a whole experience. It’s not just the fragrance, it’s a piece of art the bottle itself. The packaging is an experience. The whole purchase of baccarat is an experience. It cannot be duplicated. This lasts on me for hours, and I don’t go nose blind to it. It will have people following you around wondering what your wearing and it happens every single time. Stop buying dupes! Save up for the real thing people!!

I went into mecca to buy other products, to when i saw this perfume which ive been seeing all over social media, so i haddd to try it. Gorgeous, But Weak, scent

I decided to look past the negative reviews and purchased this scent after smelling it on a friend.Unfortunately, the bottle I purchased from JL was clearly from the affected/damaged/ diluted batch. It was weak, needing 10 full sprays to be noticeable and even then faded very quickly. It also smelt a bit old.Luckily, the staff at JL were really helpful, took my bottle away and asked for second and third opinions from other staff. They all agreed that it hardly had any smell and exchanged my bottle for a new one.The new bottle smells delicious - not old and definitely slightly stronger. Hmmm... Frustrated

I ran out of my old baccarat rogue bottle which I love the scent so much so I repurchased this bottle yesterday. When I got the bottle I put it to the test after reading the reviews online about the bad batches I was worried it would happen to mine. So I sprayed some on my neck and on my pulse point of my wrist to compare it to my old baccarat. When I sprayed it, it instantly had a strong alcohol smell to it then it settled into the smell. However it wore off after 30 minutes.. With my old baccarat it would instantly smell amazing, have a long lasting projection for days on my clothes and even after a shower you could smell it faintly on your wrist. I was skeptical at first smell and had to keep coming back to it. This is a little bit of a departure from what I tend to purchase, but when it dries down, that's when you get the full effect of just how special BR 540 really is. The sillage left by this beauty is amazing when placed on the pulse points to help create that longevity. When said a little goes a long way, it is definitely true of this one. It is a bit heavy and would serve well as an evening or fall/winter scent. Everyones body chemistry is different as well as ones sense of smell.
