Best foundation I have ever used!

I purchased this foundation on March 2024 in my local Sephora and I think this is becoming my go-to foundation for good!Let’s start with benefits:1. Glowing light--dewy finish on combo-dry skin

I have combination skin. The foundation worked okay for my skin type. I felt like the t-zone area performed much better than the normal-dry perimeter. The perimeter soaked up the foundation and faded but looked plumped up. The shade, Almond 4N62 is a good, natural-looking match for my medium-dark skin tone. The foundation texture is somewhat runny. Two pumps of foundation applied with a synthetic bristle foundation brush gives me a single layer coverage. This light layer gave me skin tint results that I loved for quick errand days: natural glow, even-complexion but I can still see my freckles and hyperpigmented areas. The foundation feels lightweight and dries to diffused glow-dewy finish. Three to four pumps provide medium to fuller coverage that covered up my ... MoreI have combination skin. Great foundation — but no neutral skin tones.

I thought I had found my HG foundation — it is hydrating, doesn’t accentuate lines or wrinkles, looks natural but covers redness and blemishes, but…there are no actual neutral shades. I have truly neutral skin. Cool tones look too pink on me and warm tones look too yellow on me. Their neutral tones? Look orange/yellow on me. I guess I could start experimenting with mixing the supposedly neutral shades with cool shades to see if I could get an actually neutral shade. The shades also seem to be much darker than expected. If you can find a match for your undertone, this is a great foundation but they need to have actual neutral tones — right now the only choices are warm or cool tones.

Healthy Glowy, Natural Finish - Perfect!

I'm going on 63 years old and didn't start wearing makeup until my 50's. It has taken me thousands of dollars to wade through all of the BB Creams, Tinted Moisturizers, Sunscreens and Foundations. I love the Chanel No1 Foundation but can't stand the fragrance in it and somewhere online, I came across someone stating that this MUF Hydra Glow is the perfect dupe.As it turns out, I prefer it! HydraGlow - BEST FOUNDATION EVER!!

MUFE, I’ve enjoyed products you made for over 10 years since I started at Sephora but I notice you often discontinue your formulas and replace the product with a new one which disappoints many. I have to say the HydraGlow foundation is STUNNING, please I’m begging you do not discontinue this one. Now that I’m 34… my skin texture has changed and it’s getting more and more dry and textured. Ive struggled finding a foundation for many years due to this and I want so badly to have that smooth skin like I once did (thanks to social media for setting that impossible standard). I cannot thank you enough for this formulation… I’m a foundation junkie and this one has made it to #1 - even surpassing my beloved skin tints which are good for 30s+. Coverage is light/med, hydrated smooth glowing finish. Staying power is good for such a hydrating finish but that’s all I need for day to day wear— just be sure to choose your skincare base wisely (thick oily moisturizer means less long wear). You can just use setting spray for extra long wear.

Improves look of wrinkles excess glow looks sweaty

This really make my dry skin look so much better and I wanted to love it. But here are my issues:1.This wore like a light coverage foundation when I wanted medium to full coverage. It was patchy in coverage so I had to add several layers to even it out. (After using both, I highly advise a fluffy concealer brush and not a Beaty blender for this foundation. It helped a lot, but I still had to add way to many layers for coverage) 2.This product also had too much glow, so it made me look like I'd been sweating at the gym for hours.3.I had to use a setting powder to hold it in place bc of all the layers and to dull down the oiliness. Use only if in 20s-mid 30s

Apparently this is supposed to be the replacement to the Reboot foundation they discontinued. Doesn’t come even close to a good replacement. Now if you’re in you’re in your 20s-mid 30s it will probably work great. I used to used their HD foundation when I was in my 20s to about 37. Not good if you’re older. Reboot was my favorite because I could put it on in the morning, go out to dinner after work & even go to see live music and be out til midnight all on the same day and not have to check if it looked cakey or made any fine lines stand out. Reboot lasted all day looking amazing. Not with the HD Hydra Glow. And I had just gotten Botox a few weeks prior so my skin’s smoothness was a peak perfection. I really hate when brands discontinue something to say it will be the same or better and it actually turns out worse. So like I said at the beginning of this review, probably works great on someone in their 20s or early 30s. If you’re older it’ll just bring out any fine lines or winkles in a few hours and look really cakey. Make Up Forever needs to bring back Reboot

sensitive skin beware

I only got a sample from Sephora, but it burned my skin. I think it must be the lemon extract second ingredient. I thought it wouldn't affect me because it isn't an essential oil but I was wrong. If you have sensitive skin and especially if you're sensitive to essential oils like me then maybe skip this one. The photo is from the morning after I used it so it's going to take a few days to heal up.I gave it two stars for the performance. I love the MUFE HD skin foundation but I have dehydrated skin so I thought a hydrating option would be great for really dry days but I didn't like this one. Also I used Huda loose powder under my eyes and it really emphasized the texture on my nose and near my eyes where the powder touched this foundation. It wasn't the worst but also not very good. I would have given it a second chance to see if I could find a good way to work with it with the second half of my sample, but since it burned my face I won't try it again. I never had these kind of issues with the HD skin formula and I find it very easy going, I can use it with pretty much any skin prep and primer.
