To start off, I have oily skin and by the 5th hour after applying my makeup I can usually already see some shine. It’s SUPER fine and I used one of my bigger, denser, and fluffier brushes to apply instead of the puff that it came with. Application was smooth and was matte. Packaging was great so I didn’t waste any because sometimes too much powder “spills” out. I would definitely recommend this!

This is my new favorite powder! First off, i LOVE the packaging. It’s truly mess free and so convenient to use, compared to other powders. Dispenses the so powder easily! I got the Shade 1.1 and it’s perfect for Asian tones! The powder is definitely more on the matte size, but doesn’t look too cakey. Powder is very finely milled and gives an air brushed finish. I have combination skin and use it on my T-zone and cheeks. It helps set my makeup all day; although i do have to reapply twice throughout the entire day for touch ups. Overall, this is great, extremely high quality powder that i would highly recommend!

A whole other level.

This is the most blurring,smooth,even,gorgeous powder I have ever used. It is not drying,nor does it make the skin feel tight. Zero cakiness. I use it primarily under the eye to set concealer. It's just SO beautiful. (I am 50 and concealer/powder is non negotiable nowadays. This is the best of the many (many,many) I've tried)I highly recommend buying it here instead of Sephora and that's because the shade range here is so much broader. AAAAAMAZING!

Starting off with the package itself, I was blown away. I love how large the pan is, It comes with a puff and with the puff alone it helps you cover so much of the skin! Has to be one of my favorite features of this aside from how amazing the formula is. I have tried so many powders and let me tell you they get so messy all the powder gets everywhere all over my counter and I absolutely despise that and this one has such an Innovative sifter, which allows me to neatly grab as much product as I need. It feels amazing on the skin. It’s not drying or has a tight feeling. I am 31 years old so I do have a few fine lines and this powder does not sit into the fine lines which is a plus it makes my skin look so amazing and radiant yet Matt at the same time!

This powder really works well for my combo skin, especially during long workdays. I'm usually very picky about powders but this gives me flawless, photo-ready finish everytime. I do like pairing it with the Makeup Forever HD Foundation though.The texture of the powder is fine and lightweight, making it super easy to apply. It blends into my skin without feeling heavy or cakey. I love that the packaging is completely mess-free, with a well-designed sifter that controls how much product you use so no powder flying everywhere! After application, my skin feels smooth and looks matte, yet still has a natural finish without any chalkiness. It keeps my T-zone shine-free. The blurring effect makes my skin look flawless. Perfect for long days when touch-ups aren’t an option!

All Day Setting Powder

I have been using the Make Up For Ever brand HD Skin Shine-Control Setting Powder in the shade Light Vanilla 1.1 for the last week and I am loving it. My skin is oily and halfway through the day my T-Zone gets shiny. This setting powder stops the shine without clogging my pores. I get a blurred effect that works on my light to full coverage foundations no matter how much or how little makeup I wear each day. The powder is ultra fine and comes out in a sectioned off powder dispenser with an application sponge, although I do prefer to use a large fluffy makeup brush to apply and diffuse the powder over my entire face. The powder is weightless and feels comfortable all day long. The shade I chose worked perfectly with my skin tone. I am sold on this all day setting powder!

Definitely mattifies

I have combination skin with an oily tzone. I go through powder a lot and it's a staple for me. I also use a lot of skincare and spf so I like to matte it down. The container itself is bigger than others I have used before. You can twist and lock it to prevent the powder from getting everywhere when storing, traveling or not in use. It comes with a powder puff. I personally like to take powder onto the lid and use a puff or swirl a brush in. You can however just put the puff on the holes and flip it upside down to get product onto the puff directly. The powder is very fine and definitely matted my skin. It made my skin feel soft and made my pores seem smaller. The color worked for my skintone and I will be taking this powder on my upcoming trip.

I love Huda when I want my face more on the matte side, airbrushed, & to extend the wear of my makeup for the day.This powder is great for my collection, however, because it's on the opposite side of the spectrum. This has a very natural finish & still sets your makeup without altering the finish of your makeup. Whatever finish your base has before being set will maintain its integrity after setting with this powder!
