As an honest review for a free product to try from Influenster, I will say I really like the consistency and non fragrance of this pore minimizer primer. It's the right shade for my complexion. There's barely any smell and it's very smooth but not oily. I have combo skin, so areas of larger pores, and textured skin. I posted a picture of before using, just using the product, them under a thin layer of liquid foundation. I would say, first impression-4/5. It doesn't completely fill in all my pores but definitely gives a smoother finish. Not 100% sold on rating it at 5, but pretty good over all.

Living in humid Florida with combination skin and large pores, I thoroughly tested this primer. Unlike my usual struggle with foundation pilling, this product didn’t cause these issues. It gave me a natural matte finish, beautifully filled my pores, and maintained my makeup smooth all day. It controlled T-zone oiliness without causing dry spots around my nose and lips. Despite rarely using primer before, MAKE UP FOR EVER's Step 1 Primer Pore Minimizer has won me over. I highly recommend trying it! Grateful for receiving this item in exchange for my honest review.

Best Pore Minimizing Primer I’ve tried!!

I used this Step 1 Pore Minimizer Primer by Makeup Forever in addition to the Makeup Forever HD Skin Foundation and Concealer and the results were amazing! Great and not meant for water based foundation

Perfect primer for my combination skin

I have combination skin with large pores and live in Florida, in a very humid environment. I really put this primer to the test.I usually have issues with my foundation pilling over primers. This product did not cause this sort of issue. It settled into a natural matte finish, filled my pores beautifully and kept my makeup smooth and even for the rest of the day. It prevented my t-zone from getting too oily throughout the day but did not cause any dry spots around my nose and lips.I rarely used primer before trying the MAKE UP FOR EVER Step 1 Primer Pore Minimizer, but now I’m sold. Pretty good

I did recieve this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my review. This is an okay primer. I don't always use primer, and I have tried several over the years ranging from drugstore to higher end. To be honest none of them have made a huge impact on how my skin or makeup looks. Which is why I don't always use primer. This feels nice on the skin, gives that super smooth, silicone feel. I did find it to feel a tad drying on my skin. Could just be because my skin is extra dry adjusting to the colder weather. It's a good primer. But there's nothing super cool or impressive about it.

Really good at blurring pores and fine lines

I received this product for free from influenster in exchange for my honest opinion. This primer is great for oily/combo skin and people with large pores. It is a beige color with no scent. It glides on so smooth. You can see in the photos on the back of my hand that it instantly blurs skin and fills in pores and fine lines. It keeps my skin from feeling oily as well. However, since it’s silicone based, any of my water based foundations I can’t wear overtop of this because the primer starts pilling underneath.

Starts out great and ends up weird

I really liked this primer at first. It's tinted but I don't think the tint really does anything once it's applied. I'm very pale and I didn't notice any color once I spread it out. It looked great at first. My old acne scars looked smaller and my skin felt smooth and great. By the end of the day everything started separating and collecting around the pores and scars and just accentuated them. Maybe it would work better with a different foundation. Also, it feels very dry at the end of the day so I wouldn't recommend it for people with dry/combo dry skin.
