I got the shade medium and It is a warmer tone that can act like a bronzer but not to the point where it is orange. The packaging is sleek and classic and looks nice on a vanity. The price point is also comparable to other options on the market. Overall, I'm really enjoying this product so far and I will likely now purchase the blush stick because I have enjoyed this so much

A MUST HAVE FOR NEW OR EXPERIENCED USERS

The SMOOTHEST cream product I've ever used! It blends beautifully and easily for a natural finish that looks like it's your real skin and not makeup. It does not irritate or dry out my oily/combination ethnic skin. Dont let the pigment scare you off, it ends up MUCH more sheer than it appears in the stick form. Simple yet chic packaging that fills the hand well when holding it and has a conveniently built in brush that is removable for cleaning. The brush works perfectly for this product but you do need to be careful when placing the cap back on the brush end as it is easy to get the bristles caught and torn up. Just be careful and turn/twist/rotate it a bit as you put the brush cap on to gently guide in any stray bristles that try to pop out on the side. I have it in both Light Medium (perfect for winter/spring) & Medium (perfect for summer/fall). The only other product that I've found that tops this is the Saie Sun Melt Bronzer and they are both VERY close in quality and performance though this Makeup By Mario shaping stick has Saie beat as far as presentation, convenience and packaging goes. This shaping stick has a natural matte finish where the Saie Sun Melt Bronzer has a radiant/slightly dewy balmy finish but it's barely noticeable and looks natural if you're someone who already has oily/shiny skin. I'm absolutely in love with this stick and will be buying a back up or 2 very soon. Can't get enough!

All around no, will pass on any future products of his. Firstly, the amount of product in these is a joke, it comes with about an inch worth. Secondly…it’s WARM toned, no hint of grey which is what is needed to resemble the shadow of bone structure. Go into store, try other sculpting products on hand and you’ll see this is more of a cream a bronzer than sculpting product. Another thing…it doesn’t blend that easily. I tried it on top of my foundation and to blend it out a lot of my foundation got wiped bc it took a lot to blend (I need full coverage). I tried under my foundation and it got completely cancelled out, again I wear pretty full coverage. Not cool-fair friendly
23 August 2023

Light Medium is the only shade described as cool, and it looks like a cool tone on the swatch photo. But in-person it definitely leans golden-toned. Is it just me? If you’re cool, this is more of a bronzer than contour, at least on pale-fair skin. So, I don’t think any shade would be suitable as a cool-toned contour as they’re all even more bronzy than this one. But certainly test them in-store because everyone is different. If you have your perfect shade, it’s definitely a good contour stick. I love the brush it comes with, and the formula is creamy. The packaging is flimsy (feels cheaply made for the price point), but I won’t try pushing it all the way given the reviews saying the product pops out. Will probably return though just because of the shade.

Not that pigmented after blending it

This contour/bronzer stick from Makeup By Mario is fine. The formula is super creamy and blends well. It doesn’t dry out fast and it doesn’t leave any harsh lines after blending. The pigmentation is ok but I felt I needed to apply more and more to see results. I tried by applying it directly to my face but I noticed the pigment vanished while I was blending it. Then, I applied it on the back of my hand, I blended the product with a brush and applied it on my face and by doing that, it looked more pigmented. Mario’s Soft Sculpt Skin Enhancer formula is way better and more pigmented than this one, is the reason why it’s my favorite cream bronzer. I just can't understand the hate behind this product! I used it for the first time today and absolutely loved it! It was creamy, blended out effortlessly, and did not lose its color once blended. the shade medium is warm enough to act like a bronzer but not to the point where it is orange. I feel like they could get rid of the brush and make the product a little bit cheaper, but the formula itself is excellent! I love that there is an excellent shade range and that you get the most product out of all of the bronzer sticks available on Sephora. I'm very confused as to why people say that there isn't a lot of product when it has over 10 g. comparably, rare beauty has 7g. The stick is just wider than it is long.
