Makeup Revolution has some amazing beauty products, and not only makeup their skincare line is definitely something to check out. Ever since has started carrying some of their products s, I’m always looking to try something. Especially when Revolutions products are 50% off this week, so I went ahead and got these amazing highlighter. It’s a beautiful rose gold that definitely reminds me of Laura Merciers Face illuminators. It’s highly pigmented and instantly makes my skin look bright and illuminated. The formula is super silky and soft and works with any makeup look. I love love love this!

Bold Highlighter

I love the illumination of this highlighter. It's very bold and bright. It lights up the areas you want, and makes your complexion stand out. It's definitely more silvery than gold, which I really like. Unfortuntely I have to reapply it a few times a day (when I touch up my foundation with powder) although this could be due to the fact that I have combination skin and my T zone gets oily throughout the day. Could work better or last longer if you have dry skin and don't suffer with oiliness. Regardless, I'm very happy with this highlighter ESPECIALLY for its price point. Fantastic. The packaging does ware away quite quickly, but it is fully recyclable, and product is vegan and cruelty free.

HIGH BEEM !!!!

First off, OKAAAYYYY Makeup Revolution, you knocked this highlighter outta the park ! What a gorgeous finish ! It's not chalky ! This is perfect for everyday or you can "build" it and have a glam bride! This highlighter is beautiful I am so impressed I ditched my previous highlighter in my freelance kit & replaced it with this one because it is just stunning ! I purchased the color "dare to divulge"

Less product for same price

These are great highlighters, but the amount of product has decreased by nearly 40%. I just reordered, and Ulta is still advertising 0.35oz (10g), when the product actually contains 0.22oz (6.5g).As long as the product performs as it did before, I'd still recommend purchasing, however with the decrease in the amount of product, it doesn't quite feel like the amazing deal for quality that it once did.I know the decrease of product/increase of prices is hardly new among many companies right now, but it's frustrating that Ulta's advertising implies you'll receive more product than you will.

My favorite highlighter!

I love Makeup Revolution and the sister brands. Affordable and great quality make up. I love the shimmery sheen of this highlighter. I got the color Make an Impact. It looks pink in the photos, but it is a subtle golden peach color. It is still a lovely color. I am in my 50s and don't find the glittery finish of Makeup Revolution products to be too much. I apply the products with a soft brush and smooth out the glitter gently with the side of my finger. Beautiful results. I use this highlighter, Bronzer Reloaded (Holiday)and Vintage Lace Blush. So beautiful!

My go to

My best friend bought me this a little over a year ago as I'm writing this, and it is absolutely phenomenal. I've used it nearly every day since she gave it to me, and it is nowhere near the pan. You get your money's worth with this product because there is so much product in the pan. And it is incredibly pigmented and shiny. I will always recommend this highlighter to anyone that asks. It beats my high end highlighters but a long shot.

No Color Pay Off

I thought this would be the most perfect color and with it being so affordable I picked it up. I came home, applied it with my finger to my cheeks and there was really nothing. I then got my highlight brush, and again, such a light bare amount of highlight and shimmer. I wasn't impressed by this, yet there was three Ulta employees who told me how good this was. I would only get the Colourpop super shock highlighters from now on: they're the ONLY highlighter drugstore that I can swatch and so much product and pigment would be on my finger! Also there's such a big variety of colors and undertones. This Revolution one was very disappointing.

Stunning, affordable bling

Okay, these are FABULOUS. I purchased the light gold in "Just My Type" and the light rose gold "Dare to Divulge." Both give you incredible shine if you want - but can also be made to look very natural. The light gold is a bit too close to my skin color (around N10), so if you want a seamless highlight, this is for you. The rose gold one surprised me because it has a lot of silver reflect to it, meaning it's far more noticeable than the gold one.I actually stumbled on these when looking at reviews of the new Rare Beauty Silky Touch highlighters. Honestly...I can't imagine how these could be better. There's no need to pay a lot more! They're nicely pressed in the pan, smooth to apply, and can be high or low impact with a smooth texture. < 3 LOVE

Subtle Everyday Highlighter

I moved from the US to the EU, so I was trying to find an affordable drugstore highlighter in the stores here since I now no longer have access to brands I usually shop from. I bought this highlighter in the shade "Just My Type" because I've seen a few Youtubers talk about this highlighter, including Taylor Wynn. The shade "Just My Type" is a really beautiful and soft champagne pink and it makes for a really great everyday highlighter since it's really subtle. I can't really build it up to be blinding, though, so this is best for a natural look. There is definitely small glitter in this highlighter and it does look nice, but even though the glitter is small, it's still noticeable to me, but maybe only because I don't like that look. I do love that this shade just blends in with my skintone and foundation seamlessly and looks natural. FYI I am shade NC15 and foundation shade UK Ivory in the L'oreal Fresh Wear Foundation.

Wow!

I'm picky about my highlighters, and I'm really impressed with this one considering the price. I would say if you're on the fence just get it. It reminds me of Mac By Candlelight highlighter that was limited edition. It's a beautiful soft glow that doesn't leave a powder or texture look behind. I apply with a fluffy powder brush on the cheekbones and after 2 swipes my face looks alive and radiant. There are NO sparkles in this. I recommend to spray with Mac fix+ to really melt it in and then top off with a setting spray...although that's not needed. It lasts pretty long still without doing that.
