Sturdy, locks into the battery smoothly and perfectly slides off when disengaged. Opened the box, mounted it, and now have a home for my extra battery. Surprisingly safely packaged given what a hefty strong print it is.

The product performed flawlessly on my 12V light. Bad news is, now I have to buy a 12V only charger. I had an 18V and a 40V which will not work because of the battery output differences which require different charging capacities. Everyone’s chargers are different than Mikita…Milwaukee, Skil, etc.

Good choice

Very good battery. I use this battery for makita 12 v tool. Its very good. Small tool 12 v line I used in places where I don't have enough place. for cutting or make hole. 4 Ah is great. But I'm looking forward for more Ah by makita brand.

Great battery

It's a great upgrade from the 1.5 amp battery that comes with the drill set. I've had my makita set for about 2 years and I love them, except for the battery charge life I finally decided to purchase the 4 amp battery. I can see a mark improvement in the performance and torque of both the impact and the drill driver. Now all I'm waiting for is a fast charger for them that's the only thing that henders this battery and drill set. I recommend this battery for anyone who has this drill, I ordered it and I recieved it the next day great! I have decided to order a second battery to complete my set.

I wondered about getting this larger battery or a second smaller battery for my fan. I use the fan to circulate the AC from the front seat to the back seat in my truck, where my dog rides in his crate. We moved 2000 miles in a massive heat wave, and the fan worked well and kept my dog cool and comfy. Well worth the price of the set-up for my dogs health and my peace of mind!

Fits in my tools just as well as the batteries that came with the tools did. Came with 2 bars of charge. I bought one of the "used" offerings from warehouse deals. Looks like someone may have ordered the wrong battery, just an opened package. Nothing shady about it, official makita gear which I've had good luck with in the last year or so with my cxt drill/driver.
