Excellent service.

Tool works really well. Bought for cutting long, continuous, fairly tight curves in wood panels without worrying about being hampered by dragging a power cable along. It's very good for this. Your hand's control is nearer the blade, the centre of gravity is lower and it's lighter than a D handle. Not used for very long yet, however, I've several Makita tools in use for years, - all performing excellently. Also not 'expensive ' (especially if you already have batteries).

Only 12 volt but so powerful. I'm very pleased with it.

Another great 'little' machine

Keep adding to my 10.8v range of Makita tools, I find the range brilliant, although the drills and cordless saw are small, they do just as well as the bigger 18v stuff and much easier to handle - specially when fitting kitchen cabinets, building wardrobes and assembling flat-pack stuff - I cringe when I see guys using an 18v impact driver on cabinet hinges - anyway, back to the jig-saw, brilliant tool, quick change chuck for bayonet blades, fits well in the hands and gives you confidence of control, starts off slow and once it gets a bite into the wood or work piece the speed increases. Excellent control for staying on line for detailed cutting, very good size being the 10.8v (12v max) battery range and more than enough power for doing any jigsaw job, laid a whole floor with 1 2ah battery,If you are wanting a jigsaw and can't decide on the handled or body hold version, I recommend the body hold type, I won't go back!

Slightly heavier than expected but a superb tool. I now never have to change position when cutting, the 102 has no functional "front" or "back", it is so easy to turn, push, pull, it's simply a revelation, a really clever design. I wasn't too sure about the separate press on and off switch but in use it really does work. I bought this to replace an old mains Makita Jigsaw and I am really, really happy with it.

Great price of kit, light weight and small making it very ergonomic perfect for little jobs, and the 12v range doesn't have the silly little yellow bits on the batteries which break off making them useless. Bought this with drill combo and a multi tool saw, highly recommend.
