Great accessory for the DSP600 saw. Joining 2 together allows 3m long dead straight cuts without hassle. Only minor criticism is that you need to check very carefully the the two tracks are accurately aligned because the connector allows a degree or two of play.

Easy to use. The Makita saw sits on it and is guided perfectly, as it should be. On the first cut noticed it took off part of the rubber edge!!. After that no issues. The non slip base works well as clamps often get in the way.

Just the sort of quality you would expect from Makita. Dead straight, dead flat, high quality on all materials. Another bonus I hadn't thought of before receiving it is the dual purpose of the splinter strip. The first task is to run the saw along to trim it. Once you've done that, it then serves as an exact marker of the inside of the cut which is great for lining the guide up to cut your piece.

I bought this 1 day before going in for a hip operation so won’t be able to use it for at least 6 weeks. Something to look forward to. Have used one before, just got around to upgrading from Lidl version bought some years ago
I got the clamps but it’s very grippy even without (extra control with the clamps though). Be aware that the plunge saw will trim off a bit of the rubber on your first pass! Very useful bit of kit.
I’ve been wanting this for ages, but needed a new saw as mine was drop awhile ago & bent the guide..so after buying a new saw I purchased this… couldn’t wait to use it…. Wow so so pleaded with it.. it is so accurate & easy to use… probably my best purchase for a few years.
Wish I’d bought this when I first bought my circular saw. Stays stable once down and cuts perfect straight lines. I bought to cut filler panels for my kitchen and the edges sat perfectly together. Make sure you get a sharp blade though and some of the Makita clamps to go with it if cutting from a bench.
I have a number of Makita products as I think they are very good. This rail is no different. The only problem I have is that it does not fit in my guide rail bag which came with my earlier 1.4mtr rails. Quality is good.
