I was about to buy a cheaper brand 18V combo kit, but saw this and it was such good value I went for this Makita set instead. I worked it out and it's nearly half price compared to buying the pieces individually. It's not a brushless kit, but it's for home use and I don't really think I need brushless, so no point paying extra for it. It will be a very long time before I wear out any of the brushes. Will probably also get an 18V multi-tool and jigsaw to add to the set.

I worked it out and it's nearly half price compared to buying the pieces individually. It's not a brushless kit, but it's for home use and I don't really think I need brushless, so no point paying extra for it. It will be a very long time before I wear out any of the brushes.
