Although I have had it for only 3 weeks it has cheerfully withstood relentless hard use on site doing a large complex cut roof. Everyone who has used it, and abused it, has loved it - a proper bit of kit, a pleasure to use. Nice solid broad base plate, excellent visibility on the cut, nicely balanced.

Usual makita quality, so much quicker than a grinder, less "hot works" permits needed on site. Grinder still has its place, but this saw is very good and versatile. Can't recommend it enough.

Everything was fine if it received without edge damage. There is no packing damage that means the seller shipped damaged item or he didn't inspect it before dispatch.

Love this tool.. good for small section ie box, angle and tube, cuts like a hot knife through butter like all makita stuff its well built.
Top tool cuts unistrut channel & threaded rod in no time no hot works permits any more no filing ends allways a clean cut ,saves time & money paid for itself in one week .
how did i manage without this tool for so many years..this makes life so much easier and quicker for anything you would usually cut with a hacksaw or an angle grinder,cuts galv tube like butter,great for cutting plastic waste pipe/angle iron etc,etc,your only limited by the size of what will physically fit inbetween the gates,no sparks..considerably less noise than a grinder,fantastic tool
