One thing I thought might be an issue was the narrow base- it’s easy enough to make your own one though, I saw the offset base in the instruction booklet and made a copy of that using plastic roughly the same thickness as the supplied base, using that as a template for the holes. Cut out holes sand edges, countersink for screws and fit a handle. It’s easier to keep flat on the workpiece with the wider base.
