my old GMC one died after 10 glorious years. decided to by the makita cordless one and it worked a treat pulling apart pvc pipe couplings. ran it on a 5Ah battery for about 10 minutes and the battery was still showing 4 bars charge. I was impressed. I thought it would really suck the battery. registered it on mymakita and 5 years warranty. Woo Hoo!
