The Makita CXT 12V Batteries power the full CXT range of cordless 10.8V and 12V Makita power tools. The BL1016B is a 1.5Ah model which offers impressive runtimes. This Lithium-ion slide on battery is compatible with the full CXT range. Because of the new build and cell structure, the slide on batteries can offer higher capacities and have individual cell monitoring for added protection and longevity. It can perform in temperatures down to around -20°C and because it has a multi-contact slide terminal, it will stay sercure and opperational during extreme vibration. There is also a very handy on board battery state indicator (fuel guage) which using 4 LED lights shows users how much charge they have left.
