Makita 2704 Table Saw 255mm

With the Makita 2704N you get a saw table at home with which you can make precise cuts in all your work pieces. The 1650 watt motor has enough power to cut up to 93 millimeters deep in wooden planks. Angled cutting is also possible. The 260 millimeter wide saw blade comes in an angle of 45 degrees to 64 millimeters depth. The Makita 2704 comes with handy accessories such as a push stick, miter guide and a longitudinal guide, so you can work safely and precisely. Because the saw table is easy to enlarge, wider materials are also easy to machine. Thanks to the zero voltage protection, the motor never starts if you don't want to and this is so safe.

Solid, well made good cut and measurement are good. Will handle a full sheet but I wouldn't push it all the time. Overall well impressed and well worth the investment

A quality item, more a pro piece of equipment than a top hobby one. It needs to be carefully setup to reveal its potential.

saw cuts well, but the fence seriously lets everything down as it doesn't clamp tight.I have used makita for over 20years and trust their products. if I had tried the saw before purchase, I would not have bought it.

Works well in my small workshop. Needed something that was portable but still made straight cuts and had a decent fence. Not all that impressed with the cross cut guide that came with the product but plan on using a cross cut sled for most of those types of cuts. Shipped promptly and arrived in good condition. Happy with the purchase.

Fantastic Saw. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. I owned the equivalent DeWalt before buying this saw and the Makita is just so much better. The only slightly negative thing about the Makita is that the fence is a little more time consuming to adjust. The DeWalt is rack and pinion so you just turn a knob. The Makita you adjust by sliding and locking the fence. The Makita is larger, definitely a two man job to move it around. All in all though it just inspires confidence, it is a lovely saw. The provided blade is good too, definitely up for crosscuts. Noise wise it's reasonably quiet but not the sort of thing you want to run at 10pm. By the way, there is a hidden screw under the locking handle for the fence, and you need to adjust this immediately. You unlock the fence then turn the screw clockwise ... MoreOutstanding. This saw is my second, the first i had for around 17 years with the original Makita blade, therefore i had no hesitation in ordering the same saw, not even the price increase of a couple of hundred pounds put me off.

Makita 2704 Table Saw

The product is very well made although the outer casing is partially made of rigid plastic. The machine is actually quite heavy and difficult to lift on your own when positioning for use. I made a table with locking castors for mounting the saw table allowing me to easily position it and lock it for stability during use. The instructions are rather scattered throughout the leaflet and several readings were required to check through and understand all the operations necessary before use. Use is very easy once you gain confidence with a blade spinning at high speed quite near to your hands whilst holding the wood ready for cutting, the push stick is very useful when getting to the end of each cut. Setting the width of cut is very easy using the locking guide with a display in millimetres along the front edge of the table. During use the saw generates a large amount of sawdust and attachment of a vacuum dust remover is necessary if operated in an enclosed indoor area.So far I have been very impressed with the operation of this machine although it is early days yet with many projects to be completed. I would certainly recommend this for an enthusiastic amateur who finds it difficult to cut large amounts of wood accurately.

Makita 2704 table

After a lot of deliberation I chose the Makita table saw due to the cutting depth over the Dewalt Equivalent. Very happy with the product exactly what I needed well-made, easy setup from box. Also purchased the adjustable carry table to go with a saw Which is a much needed bit of kit due to the weight if youre carrying about or moving regular

This product you cannot adjust the blade. So it is unaligned and your unable to do anything about it. If I had the choice I would never buy this product again. Total rip off and astounding that a brand like Makita allow this. Such a silly design flaw!
