This thing wipes the floor with the 5” Makita I was using previously. It’s twice the tool. Just a beast of a sander. Fit and finish is top shelf, very balanced and easy to use without much vibration. Tons of power, sands smoothly without jumping around on every speed from lowest to highest. Noise isn’t excessive and on the lower speeds its very quiet. Dust extraction is powerful and sucks away the dust very well. Combined with the red Diabolo discs it’l make short work of anything. Only downside is the supplied dustbag is a course fabric so the very fine particles go straight through it. Best to hook it up to an extractor or shop vac.
