Wonderful, no more fuel and so easy to use.

Just got this last week. Used twice just because I cannot get enough of the mulch feature. We have a medium- to- large sized yard, all done in one charge. Yet another addition to our Makita family. Absolutely recommend this as an investment.

I’ve used it twice now and am very impressed. It’s super quiet, lightweight & easy to push, does a great job, has adjusted blade heights, and the battery is quick to charge. The only area for improvement would be to have a latch to hold the bar so your hands don’t get tired, but I’ll just buy an ‘S’ ring or similar to fix that.

I pondered over all the available models and ended up buying this unit. Works perfectly for mulching or mowing and catching.
Bought it less than 2 weeks ago. Used it once and I’m not happy.Did not cut my grass well and does not pick up clipping well either.Bunnings won’t accept a return so I’m left with one big expensive mistake.
Very happy with it. I have big lawn to mow and it does the job very well and with single charge of batteries.
I was hesitant buying a battery mower after always having petrol was concerned about power and runtime. Since i am already investigated in Makita platform i chose this mower. I must stay i was very surprised with the way it performs and runtime. The mower is light easy to push the cut is no different to my petrol mower and 2 x 5.0ah batteries lasted me around 40 minutes which allows me to do my whole house twice. It is very well built with a steel deck and just feels strong and sturdy. I will never use petrol again its just so easy to start push and quite. The only downsides is would have liked quick release knobs to fold down the handles rather than turning knobs and the red pushbar that keeps the mower running has a bit a pressure to keep it pressed, so overtime ... MoreI was hesitant buying a battery mower after always having petrol was concerned about power and runtime. Overall very happy with this mower, no more mixing petrol, pulling cords, smoke, and no maintenance.
I like this mower because it comes with two 6Ah batteries. The safety features are very good. Once the key is removed, it is safe to turn it over to clean. Unlike the petrol engine, this mower will never leak fuel or oil on the ground. This makes the cleanup much easier and the base is made of aluminium, it won’t rust. Moreover, it is much much quieter than a petrol ones.
Very powerful, batteries last really long, much quieter then a petrol mower, isn't very heavy, no servicing necessary, overall very happy
