Worth paying q little bit more for the extra power and changeable adapters

Packs plenty of punch for an 18v unit.Just had a quick try-out on some hard concrete. As long as the dust is continually cleared by backing-out the bit, the relatively lightweight 18v unit performed very well. At the moment, can see no reason to go for the heavier 36v one.

Pretty much the same as the 242 model the 243 has the added bonus of quick change chucks .. one for sds+ bits and one for standard drill bits with a traditional jaw system. The drill has enough power to easily drill holes in concrete and variable speed at the trigger thanks to its brushless motor. Battery life is great too for long useage.

Cut the cord, this is a proper rotary hammer.

I purchased this tool along with the dust extractor to expand my LXT lineup. This tool actually performs like a corded drill without the cord.It is great for overhead work due to the lightweight of the tool. It is around 9 lbs with battery. With the vacuum attachment it is around 11 lbs. No cord means maximum portability. Great when up on ladders, skyjacks, scaffolding and anywhere where there isn't a power source.A powerful brush less motor with 2.0 J (2.4 ft-lbs) of impact energy. I installed at least 35 3/8"x1.5" shots, with a fully charged battery, into a concrete slab for my cast iron pipes. It has its own built in motor, so it does not take performance away from the drill.
