Eats ceramic tile like a lawn mower!!!

Got this to remove ceramic tile, its way better than i ever imagined! I got it to do large areas but its actually light enough that i use it even in small bathrooms. I have a small bosch sds plus demo hammer that i use to use and still planned to use in small areas but this is surprisingly so much quieter and so so much faster that i pretty much use it exclusively. The rate it removes tile is almost funny, i have used my bosch demo hammer for years and this is literally ten times faster. I only use it between 2 and 3 out of 5 (its more than needed) and it removes the tiles and mortar clean to the floor almost as fast as pushing a lawn mower. I can do about a ten by ten area in about fifteen min (thats removing the tiles from the floor thats not including putting ... MoreGot this to remove ceramic tile, its way better than i ever imagined! I cant say what this thing will do for other things but in the 18 yrs i have installed tile i have never seen or imagined anything close to how fast this removes tile and mortar.

FINALLY!!! Good material.

Good jackhammer, but compared to the previous model without the AVT system at equivalent power, I find it less striking power. But to demolish a concrete slab it does the job no problem, however in a horizontal position it is difficult to maintain it for a long time.

The best
15 May 2021

A guy I worked for making holes for plants had one of these. I used it one day and I had to have it. It did all the work. I was just holding it. I believe it has the same motor as the 35 and 42lb model. Much easier carrying up and down hills and on uneven terrain.

This 27Lb. Makita Demolition hammer it does the job way better than a 35Lb. Makita hammer. I use it for wood and/or tile floor tear out. It's easy to work with, quiet and lightweight powerful tool.A very good tool !!

Thought i was purchasing the rotary hammer drill but that wasn't the case. Turns out that mistake saved us a lot of time in the field. Tons of power, craftsmanship seems to be durable and there are plenty of bits to interchange for each projects specific needs.

packs a punch for a small sized breaker
24 April 2019

Used this to hammer up a floor drain in a basement, worked really well, even though I should have used a bigger breaker. It still got the job done, I like the balance, was able to hold it at an angle under stairs and able to control the hammer the entire time.
