The Makita LD080PI 80m Laser Distance Measure from ITS is a simple to operate measuring device that offers incredibly accurate measurements up to 80m. The pocket sized, handy device is capable of distance measurements, area calculations as well as indirect measurements, With a range of 80m, this offers a pin sharp accuracy of only +/-1.5mm difference. The compact device, which can easily sit in a pocket, is particularly suited for surveyors, electricians, decorators, architects and so much more. Thanks to the IP54 rating, this is easily suited for working indoors as well as outside, including onsite. Additional functions include interval function, self-timer, continuous measurements (tracking) and counting up/down. The LD080P provides measurements for distance, volume, area and indirect height with full mode Pythagorean calculations. This is for when there is no clear line of site between where to need to measure FROM and measure TO. With your LD080P, you can measure two sides of a right-angled triangle, and it will work out the third with its built-in Pythagoras functionality. Similarly, you can get the height of a structure without even being next to it, just by measuring your distance from the base and from the top, and you can measure the width of a building by standing some distance away and taking measurements from there. An internal memory stores the last 20 measurements to recalling when you get to the office or for when you need to add measurements to drawings.
