Makita MT Series 255mm (10in) Mitre Saw, 1500W M2300B

I havr the first model of this saw , but virtualy same saw, but i love it , im a professional carpenter by trade and still use this saw too date, since i bought this saw, i have purchased a sliding compound mitre saw which i use more regularly now , but this saw is a beast, and to be honest, even though this saw is used alot less than i probably should use it, because this saw cuts square and true 45 degree mitres, ive had this saw for years, its never been in for repair or needed to be calibrated, the saw i have is pretty banged up compared to my other mitrew saw but for an old saw its still in good condiitons , the drop function on my saw is a little clunky but thats not a problem wittha bit of lube , or oil, recently changed the blade and its cutting like a brand ... MoreI havr the first model of this saw , but virtualy same saw, but i love it , im a professional carpenter by trade and still use this saw too date, since i bought this saw, i have purchased a sliding compound mitre saw which i use more regularly now , but this saw is a beast, and to be honest, even though this saw is used alot less than i probably should use it, because this saw cuts square and true 45 degree mitres, ive had this saw for years, its never been in for repair or needed to be calibrated, the saw i have is pretty banged up compared to my other mitrew saw but for an old saw its still in good condiitons , the drop function on my saw is a little clunky but thats not a problem wittha bit of lube , or oil, recently changed the blade and its cutting like a brand new saw againhighly recommend if your after a very accurate and reliable drop saw if your not willing to break the bank to muchonly thing i do wish the saw had was either a shadowline light and or a lazer, so lining up the blade with a mark can be annoying but not a huge problem as these days i mainly only use this saw for framing and rough cuts, even though itas accurate to do trim and finish work '

Purchased this saw for general diy projects, its easy to set up and cuts nicely.
