I bought this primarily for snow removal as I already have other Makita battery powered tools. Works great in light to medium snow. Very wet or deep snow, not so much. It is a lot heavier than I thought it would be, but it did a great job and leaves the concrete very clean.

The Makita Paddle Sweep attachment is most helpful removing rock and gravel from the grass without disrupting the grass. So fast and great results. It does take a little effort to use, as it is a little heavy. I think if will be great in the snow too.

gravel in the grass

purchased to remove gravel from grass after winter snow plowing. Because of some snow melt I had opportunity to test it out on some small areas, worked awesome. Although I am thinking it may run the batteries out quick as there is a lot of effort involved (from the tool and the operator) but I can't speak to that at this time
