A very good article, top quality; but really expensive.

Bought this little pack for alpine climbs in backcountry so that I can leave the larger pack at camp with the stove and sleeping bag and have something to store my climbing shoes, trad gear, crampons, a shell and my ice axe on technical rock or ice routes. It have an awesome hydration sleeve and water hose sleeve and I can attach my rope to the top too. And it stuffs nicely into my larger pack. It’s nice to not get snagged on in a chimney or to pull over a roof like I did with the bigger pack. Definitely worth having along on those days where camp is in the same place after the summit bid.

Really well thought out pack from Mammut. It's taken me to the local crags, ski mountaineering on Hood, cycle commuting, and running the streets of Philly. Carries very well, loops tuck away, bellows pocket works. Just the right size so I don't over pack.

Too smal for a serious hike, but perfect for a climbing day or mountainbiking! Light weight, nice fit on the back and shoulders.
This pack is small enough to put in a bigger pack for approaches, or can carry enough for the day from the trailhead. The expandable helmet carrier is well designed and works as a quick "stuff sleeve" when zipped closed. The separate hydration sleeve keeps my bladder in the right place and the gear slings are handy when carrying a bigger rack
I bought this pack for days where my climbing partners and I can pack light and only bring a small amount of gear each. This pack took a small, basic rack, a pair of climbing shoes, a harness, chalk bag, 2liters of water, some snacks, and my helmet. Gearing up for a climb we stored everything in another bag and I carried our approach shoes and water in my pack. This pack handled amazingly. The gear loops helped on longer routes where my harness started to fill up, and it really wasn't that noticeable on the wall.It has absolutely no structure to it so it's VERY floppy and somewhat hard to get on if it's got anything in it. But it made a day of climbing a lot easier and a lot more fun for me and my partners.
For Toleran, shape and coolness to size! Everything was perfect! The delivery is smooth and I would like to ask again!
Light and easy to pack for day trips to climb. I don't pack my rope with this though
I was looking for a pack to use on long multi-pitch routes to carry water, shoes, food, and some layers. I wanted it light, and not get in the way of reaching for gear on my harness, and shoulder straps that would not bother me with climbing. This is the perfect pack for all of that! It also makes a great day pack for a fast 14er summit. I highly recommend it!
Happy with this pack-well thought out features. It’s small, but helmet carry and bladder are “outside” the main pack making the interior great for a late/spring summer alpine gear. Exterior phone pocket is convenient. Wish it had another.
