Been looking for a solid hiking boot for months. These look, feel and perform great at a decent price. Built quality seems better than the equivalent Salmons and price is cheaper than the Salewas. The sole is mega grippy, tested them on an inclined smooth surface and stayed put vs the Salewas, which were sliding down a bit on the same surface. Great product overall with a modern look

These boots are very unusual.. When I 1st put them on I thought they were too tight. But the longer I wore them the more comfortable they became. Unlike other hiking boots, you do not need to lace these up tight. These boots hug your feet, gently. After 3 days of hiking and every type of terrain imaginable, through down pours and mud, across rivers and rocky trails, These boots remained comfortable every step of the way. They feel just as supportive as my higher priced boots, But they are very comfortable right out of the box and with every step on the trail.

Mammut boots are the only boots I can immediately wear on a hike without any break in time. It feels like they are propelling my feet up the trail. The fit and the feel are just right and the Sapuen almost feels like a climbing shoe when on rock, it sticks and is comfortable.

So this is my honest review. Firstly they do not fit “true to size” you will have to up at least half a size or in my case a full size. The returns process is dire, having to return the item, wait for a refund and then re-order, which took over a month for me to get the size I needed (why not offer an exchange??). These boots are not fantastically comfortable and for some reason make the sole of my right foot burn after wearing them for a short period of time. I am hoping they will break in but certainly not instant comfort out of the box. That said they are well made, supportive and do look good. Had a local retailer stocked these I would have gone and tried on before buying. Overall a sturdy boot but will definitely need wearing in.
I got these for right before a trip. I broke them in a few days walking around town, then went straight to it. 6 days with approx 12 mile/day. with 90% of the walking off-trail. with varied rocky terrain and lots of side-hilling., These boots were perfect. Well balanced for support, mobility, and weight. We also got a little Rain and my feet stayed dry as we stomped through wet vegetation throughout the day. I choose these on a whim and they fit well and performed flawlessly. They also look super cool with a more stream line modern design.
Bought these not long ago and have worn them a few times. First hike I wore them on was a fairly rugged hike through the Lacloche mountains. I was very impressed with the way these boots performed. Super lightweight, breathable , and solid support. These boots barely required any breaking in either. As always a great product from Mammut. You won’t be disappointed and your feet will thank you.
Looks good, great fit, flexibility and support. Feel comfortable and really secure in them for hikes and daily walk abouts in the wood and in town. All in all, it is a well thought and designed hiking shoes.
I am not one to brag about any products but Mammut has been my go to choice over the years and this boot I can confirm if extremely comfy. Haven't used it in wet weather yet but great breathability (which tends to be an issue with GTX - not in this case). I went a half size up as I normally do with hiking boots and it fits perfectly even after 15k + walks.
I really liked this boot but ultimately needed to return due to sizing and couldn't wait for another pair to ship. The sole rubber is very sticky and the lacing was nice and high. The boot fit felt very narrow. For context I wear a men's 13 shoe. I pro a ly would have needed to go to a 13.5 or 14 in this boot.
Perfect fit, nimble performance, grippy sole. I'm so glad I ordered these for peak/ridge scrambling with backpack approaches in the U.S. Rockies for this Spring through Fall. I had a pair of Mammuts from ~2014 that were my best-fitting mountain boot of all time. Other brands I'd tried since that time didn't quite have the fit and sense of ground contact. Unfortunately, Mammuts aren't stocked in my local stores much, so I thought I would take the chance of ordering online despite not having seen the boots physically. Thankfully, they exceeded expectations in terms of fit and construction quality. They've already been out on 3 adventures, needed no break-in, and have convinced me this is the best bootmaker for my foot shape.
