I'm not a true climber, but I am an Instructor in Low Angle Rescue. I think this helmet feels comfortable and will be sufficient for my purposes!
While this helmet may not be as sleek and compact as some other helmets on the market, I feel that at more than half the price of higher end helmets this thing does the job nicely. Sits a bit higher on the head than some other helmets, but it still does the job at protecting your head. Sturdy but not too heavy, and the adjuster in the back lets you quickly achieve the perfect fit. Plus it comes in that sweet purple color!
I have a small but general head size(54cm). This helmet's MIPS frame could cover my head nicely. But the helmet itself is way too big. It makes me look like a white mushroom:)
Bought this helmet a few weeks ago. Very satisfied with the purchase, great price for a great helmet. Not the lightest but really comfortable and looks good. Since its one size fits all, I can also lend it to any friends who didn't bring their own in case their doing a sketchy slab.
At full extension the outer brim fits perfectly. Yet, if you want a chin strap you better be able to manufacture your own as this thing is like a thong across your neck strapped tight at full extension. Worthless product.
