It took me a shave or two to get adjusted with this razor due to the weight and size difference of most razors I've used in the past, but this one has blown away every other razor I've used! I don't clean shave my face (I normally keep a shadow) but I do clean shave my neck as well as the cheek area under my eyes to clean it up. For whatever reason, I've always had issues with my neck; Gillete, Harry's, Bic, Schick, etc. always seem to cut my neck. If they don't on the first shave, they do with the second shave. (I've also used shaving butter, cream and lotion in attempts to prevent it from happening over the years. Using a "no nick cream" helped some shaves, but I don't want to be applying that to my neck daily either).I've used this one a couple of times; the ... MoreIt took me a shave or two to get adjusted with this razor due to the weight and size difference of most razors I've used in the past, but this one has blown away every other razor I've used! After that though, it's been glorious and SO SMOOTH. Well worth the money; replacement blades aren't really expensive either and they are SUPER sharp.

I received the plow 2.0 unexpectedly and am so glad I did. What a pleasure !* ( Thanks)I've been on a body & face electric razor from a top manufacturer for a few years now. I then started using the manscape products which all have been top notch in quality and smell while being appreciated by both me and the wife. One day it came across me to use " the plow 2" I had received after being away from manual razors for a good while as I dislosed , and wow / what a discovery.Great razor ! The quality is of yester year which this "ole union man" sure appreciates.Keep up the good work.Quality first ! & Thanks again.

Okay, so a disclaimer... I enjoy and appreciate Manscaped products. With that being said, I have to say that I personally am disappointed with this razor. The actual head of the single blade razor, simply, is NOT conducive to contouring and/or affectively reaching the hard to reach places like directly under the nostrils OR around a mole on the face. The weight of the handle is heavy and I like the feel. I managed, however, to cut the mole on my face today using the Plow 2.0, so therefore, it did not meet my expectations.Having used a more traditional three to five-blade system for most of my life, I have never had any prior difficulty shaving. The Plow 2.0 changed that, and now, I remain disappointed. Additionally, the head of the Plow 2.0 is so large, that it ... MoreOkay, so a disclaimer... The Plow 2.0 changed that, and now, I remain disappointed. Additionally, the head of the Plow 2.0 is so large, that it adds to the hinderance of being able to reach those hard to reach places. What a bummer. I had to resort to pulling out my Gillette razor to be able to shave the hairs underneath my nose, as the Plow 2.0 just did not prove to be effective in that particular area.I hope that Manscaped improves the overall design of the Plow in future releases, because I really would like to give the product more stars than the measly two stars that I feel it deserves. The product has incredible potential!
Then you must already be the owner of a manscaped product. Have they ever let you down? The reason there are so many 5 star reviews is because... well these aren’t bots leaving the reviews, and the people have spoken. Listen to the people. It’s the most effortless and effective shave every time I use it! I’ll never use another DSC Razor again. The replacement blades are so much more affordable than their competitors. 10 blades for less than 10 bucks?! It’s a no brainer, so just buy it and thank them during checkout to save even more!
Absolutely the best razor I have ever owned. Comfortable, durable, excellent design, everything you could want all wrapped up in a masterfully simple yet still stylish and well built construction. You can feel the difference the second it’s in your hand. And also unlike other safety razors, finding the correct angle for a comfortable quality shave requires no effort, the feel is very intuitive immediately. Good shave, with no irritation or nicks or burn to speak of. Well done Manscaped, and a huge thank you! I finally have a razor I can completely trust and depend on!
The razor is nicely made and has good weight and balance to make it easy to shave. The shave angle is very aggressive and the blade exposure is large so you need to be very careful shaving with this razor. The gap/span between the blade edge and span is quite large/open so this razor is good for cutting longer hair as this opening means it won't clog quickly, but that is also part of why it is very aggressive. For me, I will probably only use this on longer hair on generally flat areas such as my cheeks. For more curved areas like my chin, it is very difficult to use this razor without nicking or cutting. On a final note, the Manscaped blades are quite good. They are very sharp and give a good shave.
After quite a delay in shipping (I was assured that this was due to the holiday season shopping bonanza by the support team), my razor finally arrived last weekend. I was pleasantly surprised as the razor is well-weighted with a grippy, knurled handle. The second I inserted the blade, I could tell that this is going to be an aggressive razor; it is quite more aggressive than my Merkur 34C HD (the classic beginner’s DE safety razor everyone recommends). I used a Personna Lab Blue blade and was able to get a “baby smooth” shave with just two passes. I’m adding this razor to my rotation.Warning: this is not a beginner’s razor, so be mindful of using the correct technique (hold at a 30-degree angle to the face and let the weight of the handle do the rest); if not, ... MoreAfter quite a delay in shipping (I was assured that this was due to the holiday season shopping bonanza by the support team), my razor finally arrived last weekend. I received a Plow 2.0 for free with my Lawnmower blade replacement so I figured I'd try it out. I've been using a safety razor for years and have always appreciated that it caused less irritation than cartridge razors. The Plow 2.0 itself is fine, it's very run of the mill and perfectly fine for the money. If it was just the Plow 2.0 itself, I'd be giving this a 3 or 4.The problem with the Plow 2.0 are the blades that come with it and the ones available from Manscaped. They are dull. Not only are they dull, they have literal chips in them, causing uneven shaving. When it comes to using a safety razor, the sharper the blade the better. The plow is the nicest razor I have ever bought. This is something I knew the moment I allowed paypal to send these guys 30 dollars for it, plus more for a "blade replacement/replenishment plan".I am a writer who has worked in the advertising industry, but I don't let my career choices define me. So I have dabbled in many of the three main arts except for performance arts - yet.Not only that. But I have a unique eye for spotting really good uses of colors and the artistic arrangement of themes. And I really love their websites use of blacks, dark greys and browns that might seem boring or to earthy on other sites, but fit the masculine tone they seem to be going for. But I have a unique eye for spotting really good uses of colors and the artistic arrangement of themes. And I really love their websites use of blacks, dark greys and browns that might seem boring or to earthy on other sites, but fit the masculine tone they seem to be going for. Not just that. It matches the ancient-bronze color of the "plow" itself. It hearkens back to not just the days of old yore, but to the present day professions that still make one thing of strong, burly, mans men. Such as lumberjacks like the brawney man(paper towel mascot) and the old salty sea dog sailors such as Popeye, and possibly Mr. Clean(he has a single gold loop earring if you look close). And it's not just the Plow itself. It's the way the box presents it to you. It's the masculine catch phrases such as "Your balls Will Thank You" I got when I ordered the manscapper kit for my brother.Which brings me to my point. Or one of them.I had thought the plow was included in the very expensive box set I got.I had intended to give it to my brother (as he likes to shave his chest because even his muscles have muscles)But after I opened the kit I found it does not include the plow. But that's OK.I still think the Plow is the best razer I have ever tried. And I may end up never using the straight edge razor I bought recently - because I think the most masculine razor of modern day time "The plow" will deliver not only closer cuts, but feels much safer around sensitive areas and curves. And the way I can cut across the grain in the small patch of chin where my facial hair grows in an almost circular pattern, has not yielded the same sort of razor burn as other blades.I will note two things, however. That I would recommend to any "plowers"FIRST: While the plow makes shaving so easy you might be tempted to just shave with water... And it did work for me in fact.. it's probably not recommended. Not good for your skin. Not good for the blade. Though it might be tempting to just go over one more time to feel that lovely "heavy glide action" you must resist the urge!TWO: Despite the fact that I believe this is the best razor -I- have ever used. If you really do suffer from constant in grown hairs or razor bumps I suggest you read in to the benefits of opening your pores with a hot (not sink water warm) towel over the area you are going to shave. Then once more to clean, followed by a cold (preferably microfiber) wet towel applied to the face to normalize (not necessarily close) pores. The same pores that are beside, and even a part of where the hair folicles grow. This hot water/towel pre shave shave stimulates the epidermis in a healthy way for one who is about to embrace the shaving arts. And the post water/hot towel, will loosen any small little hair folicles left behind (stubble you see under the skin) so that when you follow up with a cold towel it will close the pores around folicles that have been stimulated to rise just imperceptibly out of the skin enough that they dont cause ingrown hairs.Also. If I might add a third. One that many men with facial hair no doubt forget is never a good thing to do for maintaining a healthy complexion.DONT TOUCH YOUR FACE!!!
