Alongside the new scenarios and investigators, new monsters will join the fray, each one as terrifying as the next, all staying true to the Lovecraftian theme of the game. It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.

It's fun packed in a box. It's like D&D turned into in a board game, with cards instead of dice and DM. Takes time to unbox and set up (huge amount of token and cards), but this is fun too. Quality of parts is top notch. Gameplay is amazingly designed. You can choose how much you role play, but you can definitively role play if you want. Feels like a campaign setting for D&D.
Still haven't played the game but played jaws of the lion and it was awesome. When I got mine, the box was bit teared up (fixed it with tape), definitely was the fault of the post. To conclude, if you have time and friends to play with I definitely recommend.
The perfect expansion to the base game. It gets you out of the claustrophobic mansion and adds good investigators, new tiles (which are actually used in scenarios from other expansions), fun scenarios, and game elements which improve the game (improvements and the new puzzle type are great additions).
Pricey as an individual product but, as always, cheaper at Zatu so worth the investment. A great selection of miniatures, high quality board pieces and some new cards,abilities and mechanics which enhance the game. The addition of 3 new scenarios is a major selling point, and help to make the price more appealing. Recommended.
Love Mansions of Madness and this is a great expansion. Super thematic, love the spooky vibes.
This expansion adds so many more amazing tiles as well as some amazing monster miniatures. The scenarios Astral Alchemy, Ill-Fated Exhibit, and Gangs of Arkham are on hard - be prepared to lose a lot - but we love that. It isn’t Lovercraftian if you are not staring into the abyss.
Every time we have tried to play, the app locked up. This game is very expensive & totally not worth the hassle. And you only get 4 games. After that, you have to buy an expansion or pay for another stage. As if the 90 dollars we originally spent wasn't enough
