Took a bit to assemble well worth the shade it gives my south western facing porch in the afternoon & the nice thing it is not permanently attach Support Pole when set up right is tight & secure Like the ease of cranking out the awning

Just what I needed for some shade & rain protection for my house. Ideal for my needs being a removable fixture. Instructions not overly detailed. I would call it water resistant not water proof. Moderate to heavy rain can still leak through the material. 2 coats of water proofing spray fixed that. Not sure about the claims being UV resistant. It does provide some shade & reduces sunlight but not entirely block out. After a few months it's obvious the material has faded without getting full sun & slight rust forming on one of the poles.
