I looked at the box and i suspected problems. There was no manual, missing filters, etc. The driver in the unit is broke. I spent over an hour on the phone with Marantz who told me the unit was more than likely refurbished and they couldn't help me.

I host a video podcast and I've tried several different combinations of equipment but with the Turret, I can record my podcast in one file (instead of having to sync separate audio and video files) using open broadcaster software. It's a nice feature to have an auto-focusing video camera-I've shot entire episodes of a podcast with my DSLR, only to find that the SD card contains 30 minutes of out of focus video. With the Turret + streaming software, you can monitor your video as you shoot, ensuring that you're getting the shot you intended. Maybe the focusing issue is unique to my Turret but if that were resolved, I would say that the Marantz Turret is a great option for anyone creating streaming content.

It was super easy to un box and get set up to use. I am not a techy person, so that is huge for me. This system is really well planned for someone like me who needs an easy to operate camera, with lights and mic. I am very happy with it. Thank you !!
Great deal from Musician's Friend -- no tax, no shipping charge, and 15% off (with a coupon.) Came in a week, already assembled inside a Big Huge Box. Worked right away, no software needed, and the computer instantly recognized both audio and video. The camera is really just a high-level webcam, but it's on a sturdy metal column exactly where you need it to be. And the ring-light is actually quite flattering. But the best part is the mic -- makes you sound like every major You-Tuber who ever posted an evocative, soul-felt 4K vignette of their long day at the DMV. Really, everything you need to be a professional podcaster or vlogger. In a Big Huge Box.
Very poor video quality with virtually no dynamic range. The microphone is okay, but not stellar. The light works, more or less. One major fail: There is no height adjustment of for the mike or camera! You can change the angle, but not the height. For the price of this thing, I expect much better video quality.

The mic quality is pretty nice, and I like the ring light a lot. But when I tried to stream with it, my viewers and people I would play with mentioned they heard a lot of crackling, and when I would play the videos back I heard it. Looked it up and that tends to happen when a chord is either damaged or not fully plugged in. I unplugged everything countless times, come to find out one of the chords had internal damage. Pretty disappointing for something I paid so much money for.
I use this product every day for work (I work from home and attend multiple virtual meetings). This rig allows me to work effortlessly with high quality sound and camera. I cannot recommend this highly enough if you find yourself in a similar work situation. It’s such a comfortable way to work… a thousand times better than my old headset & mic.
it has a few quirks (the thing should really be able to tilt up/down and slide up) but for a truly "plug and play" system it delivers excellent results. we've been using it for Facebook Live and GoToWebinar live video events
