Easy and fun to use. Pasta comes out perfect! We do not need the motor. Hand crank works fine.
The Pappardelle attachment is well made and works well with the Atlas machine. I have a Marcato motor attachment as I find it difficult to anchor the Atlas machine to our counter using the clamp included with the machine. The motor allows me to feed the dough in easily while thinning it. I don't have to worry about securing the machine to the counter. The cutter that comes with the basic machine allows the motor to be attached. The pappardelle cutter doesn't accept the motor. Not a deal breaker as the cutter works easily without a motor. The clamp is needed primarily for the thinning, not so much for the cutting. I was disappointed, but still love the Pappardelle cutter.
I expected the Pappardelle noodle to be closer to 1/2" to 3/4" in width. Instead it was closer to a lasagna noodle, almost 2" wide. I probably won't use the attachment.

I bought this Marcato Atlas pasta accessory as a gift, so I cannot speak to the item itself, but I can report that it arrived in time for the holidays. Also, I found Walmart offers a bigger assortment of these accessories than other websites, and in some cases, for considerably less money. I can recommend buying these accessories through Walmart on this basis.
They won't allow the motor on this and the Mafaldine attachment, probably because one of the two rollers is made of plastic, into which the other roller cuts. Not sure how it can be healthy to be cutting plastic into my pasta.I'm going to update my Atlas 150.My machine is over 30 years old and I'm worried about nickel leaching into my pasta, I use it so often. Now I'm worried about the plastic in these attachments.The Atlas 150 is arguably the best pasta machine on the market. Not sure I feel the same way about an attachment that has a plastic roller.
