Love it! Been reluctant to purchase home gym equipment - prefer to go to the real thing - but the quality and price of this bench makes it possible to build a gym. Usually the unpacking is worse than the assembly, but they packaged the bench so that it was protected without excessive, painful unveiling. The assembly was logical and breeze!

This has been a great addition to my home gym. I'm 6 feet tall and a little over 200 pounds. I've used it for concentration curls, dips (but you need something else to prop your feet on), dumbbell flies, dumbbell press, various shoulder exercises, and various ab exercises.It supports me well during every exercise I've performed on it. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I would prefer a smooth vinyl-like cover that is easy to wipe off and clean. The cover on this bench is nice, but can absorb sweat in some areas.Note: This bench isn't very long. That is perfect for me since I have limited space, but if you're looking for a long bench like you might find at some gyms, this might be smaller than you want.
I researched the weight limit on this. I use it to bench press. It is tested at 600 lbs. Thats about 250 lbs more than I will use it for. I was considering getting the bench rated at 300 lbs. But chose this one to be safe. Glad I did. It is very sturdy. It is also light weight enough to move around by lifting it. I dont drag it. I would recommend this to people bench pressing.
Found the bench padding to be a little less than expected. Obviously not gym level quality but for the price it works for now. Would not recommend if doing any real weight since bench is narrow and that would require a real stable base. Packed real well and easy to assemble.
I wanted a simple bench at a great price that I could easily put together at home. I did have trouble with one bolt because I did not understand it needed to be correctly seated in the hole in order for it to be truly tightened. My boyfriend showed me how the bolt needed to be positioned and the bench was good to go! I gave it a 4 star rating because it really off gases badly. I have put it outside to air out and will use it out there until it stops being so smelly. I would not advise opening the box and using the bench in an non-ventilated area nor would I keep it near an infant.
I love this bench, because it is light weight and yet sturdy. Although I, female, have worked out with weights in gyms for about 40 years on a regular basis, I am now getting a bit older and am not quite as strong any more. This bench I can easily pick up myself and take it anywhere in my own gym room. I am very pleased and highly recommend it.
