It's a bit expensive for what the game is. the graphics aren't very good and is not as enjoyable as mario and sonic at the 2012 olympic games. Only played winter games once because i did not enjoy it.

My 7 year old was delighted with this game, it was a birthday present. He has hardly put this game down since he received it, he thinks it is great fun. My 10 year old also likes playing with this game

It came on time like most things I order on Ebay. And I overall enjoy the game. For one, the box art cover is real cool and well made. While sometimes the controls can be a little junky, its still playable and works well. There's alot of play value in the game, from game modes, collectibles like soundtracks, Mii Costumes, and facts about the Olympic games. And to conclude this, the cgi cutscenes are of course beautiful. May not be saying much given its a 2009 game and graphics were quite at a peak then, but I adore those kind of cgi cutscenes. I would recommend giving it a shot. You'll enjoy it.

Not the flashiest game, but a fun time. The game is a series of mini-games centered on Winter Olympics events. Almost all of the events control well and are very fun to play. Nostalgic and very fun.
Oh, time to write an actual review. First thing first, somehow, this is a DS game (and not even a DSi game in disguise) with graphics that are even more robust than Persona Q, a 3DS game. I am shocked, this could pass as a GameCube or even a Wii game if it ran at a higher resolution. There is a game by the same name on the Wii, but it is not at all the same game. The story is very compelling. It is a simple storyline, but it is a fun and enjoyable one nonetheless. Basically there are six Snow Spirits responsible for making Snow in Vancouver, Winter Island, and Dream Island. Eggman and Bowser kidnap them so they can host their own Winter Olympics, presumably in either Eggmanland or Koopa Castle. Mario and Sonic then recruit a bunch of team members to help them save the Snow Spirits. The gameplay... The very short review would be touch-controlled hockey sucks! So anyway, this game is a lot of fun, if you can get over just how bad touch-controlled hockey in particular is. In theory, it wouldn't be so bad, as using the touch screen allows for precise passing of the puck. In practice, hockey (especially Fever Hockey) is impossible to control as you not only move by holding down where you are moving to on the touchscreen, but have to also tap and swipe to either pass or shoot the puck. The rest of the sports aren't perfect as they are either comically easy (Speed Skating), or have their own special learning curve. The good majority of them is very fun. Ski Jumping, Cross-country Skiing, and especially most of what is on Dream Island is really fun. The music is amazing. Seriously, at least take some time to enjoy the amazing soundtrack.
Ive been looking for this game for a while and now that I have an eBay account I was able to get it!! Thank you very much!!
This game is working perfectly and I am having so much nostalgia just playing this again for the first time in 12 years!!! Most definitely will be purchasing again.
The case came in like it was a new copy, and so did the manual. I finally got a new case for my game, which makes sorting my other games easier.
There's nothing overly bad about this game, but nothing overly good about it, either. When you first start the game, it presents itself nicely, but quickly you'll find everything just feels unpolished. The original (summer) Mario & Sonic Olympic games was made with under a year of development, this sequel had a full two years of development time, yet it's less polished than the first one.Load times are far longer than the first game, and simple things like connecting to the WiFi connection to update scores takes a life time.Of all the events, only the curling (yes, curling) is particularly well pulled off. Events like Ski slalom, Snowboarding & Ski Jump are all better executed in Wiifit. On top of that, you'll find yourself being able to get gold in pretty much ... MoreThere's nothing overly bad about this game, but nothing overly good about it, either. I bought this when it was first released in 2010! We loved it so much and it got scratched over the years so badly it was no longer able to be read in my machine and now with isolation everyone seems to be in bidding wars to buy it. I only need the disc and so I had the bright idea to just buy one. No bidding just buy now and I have it. Already played it and it is as good as I remember! Free postage and it was delivered on the day it was said. Very happy, great price and I would recommend for anyone looking g for family games. The wii is easily my favourite console and my children dont until I play and they want to win! Great game. Really.
