I admit that I’m not regimented enough to use it every single night, but I find that if I’m particularly stressed out or know that I’m about to have acne issues, I will use this for a few days in a row and avert the crisis. This bottle is also a soft plastic and small enough to take with you if you travel a lot for work or if you want to bring it on vacation so you look your best for all those pictures. I actually have a couple bottles of this. I leave one in my “hotel bag” that I check at the hotel when I travel for work and I have one at home so I’m never without it.

This brand has some products that didn’t do much, and others that are life changing. Their acne products are life changing. For those with hormonal cystic acne that ppl can’t see but you can feel, and they hurt..give this a go. It won’t get rid of the zit overnight but it def shrinks it little by little each time you apply it after cleansing your face. I even broke the rules and used it under makeup bc I was not about to not disguise this red dot in the middle of my eyebrows lol! It seemed to STILL do some damage on it, and if it didn’t reduce size of the pimple, it definitely prevented it from getting worse, as makeup usually does to these things. This and the Mario badescu drying lotion are my stubborn acne ground troops when I need reinforcements to get them at bay.

My friend gave me this serum along with a big bag full of other products. I had heard of this and the MB drying lotion. But since I had this one on hand, I thought I would try it out before purchasing any other MB products. I had a couple breakouts on my forehead and cheeks tonight so thought I'd give it a go after checking out a couple of mixed reviews. I cleansed, toned, added a couple dots of this gel-like serum to the affected areas (ONLY), and then went in with my regular serums and moisturizer. OMG! A MUST HAVE!!

I've had acne since I was in high school, I am now 27 and still get hormonal breakouts from time to time. I used a new sunscreen on vacation that made my skin break out uncontrollably and what I was currently using just could not stop whatever was happening with my skin-so I decided to give this a try and WOW, I cannot say enough good things about it. At first glance of this product seeing the price, the packaging and all the other aspects i would have never bought this product but it ended up being the ultimate lifesaver for my acne. However I would not recommend this product for blackheads, it is specifically more useful for pimples, blemishes, scars and spots. The one downside would definitely have to be the hardly manageable packaging, its very difficult to get the rest of the product out of the bottle, so when you still have a lot more because of the way this item is packaged its hard to get to the rest and leaves you having to buy another one. But even though the packaging did throw me off a little bit this product is still amazing i would have never thought it would work as well as it did. Please remember if you do have sensitive skin to patch test because this product could cause irritation and redness to dry or sensitive skin types. Overall this product saved my life i am now wearing sera makeup everyday and am feeling fierce and more confident than ever.

Effective product!

At my age (55), I still get the occasional breakout, and I do need to treat spots. I tried this product as something I could put on areas that were very sensitive and I needed to "treat" them without being too harsh. I have only been using this a couple weeks so far, but I've noticed that when applying it just to those particular areas at night, I see in the morning that the areas are less red and appear to have healed slightly, and the product does not "overdry" or leave the skin flaky. It is useful, and I feel it has a gentle healing type quality to it. I'm always skeptical when trying a new product because I never know what to expect; but I have been using Mario's Cucumber Facial spray for some time now and absolutely love how it makes my skin feel. Also, the reviews on this product were amazing so I figured WHY NOT!I kid you not, in just ONE night of using this product on the acne covered areas of my face, I woke up with a significant difference. I could not believe it. All of my active acne (large inflamed bumps around my mouth) had decreased in size AND redness, my small whiteheads were completely dried up and almost non-existent, and my blackheads on my cheeks had begun to dissolve as well. I have been using the product every night consistently for about a week now and I can not begin to describe how incredible my skin feels. I no longer have any active pimples and my old acne scars have begun to heal up and fade as well.I use this product alongside Mario's Acne Facial Cleanser as well. Yes, these products do make my skin feel a bit tight afterwards, but I use the hydrating facial spray and then a deep hydration night cream and my skin feels perfectly fine.PLEASE give this a shot, it's a lifesaver and you won't regret it.

Magic Serum

I love this stuff, it's like magic in a bottle! As soon as I notice any kind of bump forming on my face I use the serum and it literally stops the bump from forming! I have acne prone skin and use to get large cystic acne but after using this serum for several years I rarely ever get a pimple....and like I mentioned earlier this will stop a forming bump in its tracks!!! Can't recommend enough, just buy it and see for yourself how great it is!!!!

No more little bumps

I love this stuff. I actually tried this FOR FREE. Let me show you how to...go to Mario's website, take skin analysis, once your done there will be a button to receive samples of the products. I think I paid like $3.50 for a BUNCH of little sample products! This stuff works. I've never had acne but my face recently has been getting little bumps with no heads, and I don't know why. This stuff took those bumps away! I pair it with seaweed cleanser,cleansing lotion and seaweed night cream!

Worked for my sons moderate to severe acne

My 18 yo son has been fighting with acne since he was in 9th grade...its left scars-- which saddens me because hes very handsome. I was browsing at Ulta and I went to get Mario Badesco's Silver Powder for myself...so I thought I would look for something for him. He usedT.Taio Esponjabon soap and Mario Badesco Anti Acne Serum. The 2 helped really reduce his breakouts. I wad amazed!! We've tried a lot in the past, rx products, Benzoyl Peroxide products, Salicylic Acid products-- nothing worked much except these 2. He still uses both, but my only gripe is that he goes through the Anti Acne Serum WAY too quickly. Maybe he had more "territory" to cover-- i have no idea. But this will be an every 3-4 wk purchase for us..
