I believe in order to play more than one player you will need the second player to have their own switch and game and of course their own car. My son likes playing with this even without setting up a track. He thinks its fun chasing after the cats. Ha ha! (No cats are ever harmed) :) You can see everything going on even from another room. It's pretty cool.

This is SO MUCH fun! Even my boyfriend who isn't really into video games will play this for hours with me (and he smashes me at it every time!) the only reasons I can't give this a ten are: 1. It's brilliant! And I would still love it even if it never changed but I hope you are going to sell add-ons and stuff like that because we'd all love them. Awesome toy! Works perfect!

Car worked great upon arrival. Just needed a little charging. Syncing to the switch and playing was easy and fun.

Fun toy/game!

My boys love playing Mario Kart Live. The car itself is quiet and not as fast as other remote controlled cars we have, which is great b/c it doesn't drive our cat crazy. The kart looks likes its going much quicker in the game. I love how the cardboard track markers can fold back up so make sure you keep the box to store your Home Circuit.

Has performance issues

Biggest problem we had was connection, even with very strong mesh WiFi the signal would still have issues if the kart got too far away from the switch. Or when it went into another room the image would get distorted and lag. Might be ok for a small room or apartment, but don't expect this work in a full size home.Too bad, because we actually enjoyed the concept of seeing the house from our hamsters POV. The tech just isn't good enough, feels like a prototype.

Item shipped as is - unsealed - no outer box

The item was shipped as is without an outer box and without being sealed. No way of knowing if anything was taken from the box. This item was meant to be a present but the box is heavily damaged from being shipped. Covered in dust. and with a huge freight sticker stuck on the box. Wouldn't order from Kogan again based on this purchase.

The only real negatives are, the signal is poor when creating a larger track. And the fact you can't connect 2 cars to 1 switch.But the concept itself is awesome. Really fun being creative when setting up a course. Would be cool to see classic mario kart characters to race against.Free next day delivery from the Nintendo store is a bonus too

Mario mad must

This toy is a must for any one who loves mario, mario cart, racing games or/and interactive games. You need a switch to play and enough space to create a course, but there is hours and hours of fun to be had. Bought for my 5 year olds birthday, the whole family including grandparents had so much fun.

Pretty neat

Hey look this thing for $100 is pretty cool. Download the game to the switch. Open the game. Sync the car and youre up and running. Will not work on carpet. You have to have hard floors but man its pretty neat with the camera. Which I had stuff like this when I was a kid.

I bought this game with Mario Kart controller for me. Im not really young. Im retro. This controller is not cheap thing but is worth this money. Also if you dont use is still very good looking item for collection or to be exposed on your shelf with others game things. Game involving you so much that you dont want stop to playing. Only one thing can get you off from gaming. When the battery is empty. Im happy with my purchase.
