Just when you thought Mario was through, he comes storming back with yet another amazing title. The Mario Kart games have been providing hours of hilarious racing action for years, and now there's a handheld version that rivals those of the other home platforms. Choose to race as Mario, Luigi, Bowser, Peach, Toad, Wario, or Donkey Kong. In addition to several classic tracks from Mario games of yore, there are plenty of new tracks to keep things fresh. Journey through the desert, out to a tropical island, and beyond as you try to derail your opponents and take the glory. Battle mode challenges you to use such creative weaponry as mushrooms, bananas, thunderbolts, and stars, while Grand Prix is a standard Mario Kart racing experience. There are tons of cool power-ups to collect, and the graphics are among the best ever created for a handheld game. Long-time fans of the series and newcomers alike should get plenty of miles out of this one.
