The weight of the binding also makes it ideal if, like me, you want to stay relatively mobile in your equipment, as the Squire 11 is quite light. Thanks to the Gripwalk technology, I was able to continue using my boots and I didn't notice any compromises compared to bindings without Gripwalk. So for me it's the perfect binding, as I was looking for an affordable, lightweight binding that can still be skied on all terrains without compromise.

I have used Marker bindings on several different pairs of skis. I have Marker Squire bindings on my current skis and have been happy with them. I bought this pair to go on some new skis I also purchased from L9. I like to ski everything from groomers to steep chopped up crud, proto bumps, and powder. Marker Squire bindings have held me solid in all these conditions. I like that they are affordable and look cool, more importantly they work.

I bought these with K2 Mindbender 99Ti skis. Together they still didn't weigh much, and they weighed less than my Solomon X-drive setup.I also liked that they have what seems to be a small drop when clicking into the binding. And that the part that supports the front of the boot moves left and right to release, instead of a slippery material that done bindings use.

I love these bindings! They are light weight and work great for me (at 135-ish lbs)!There was a slight problem with a toe piece so I brought them in and had a new toe piece delivered from Portland (during a snow storm!). John in Hood River mounted the new toe piece the next day, just in time for my trip to Whistler. I never missed a powder day. Thank you John in Hood River!
This was the first pair of skis I’ve ever purchased. Been a snowboarder for 10years and made the switch this year. I love the playfulness of this ski and it feels like a great ski to help me progress into the world of skiing. Sometimes i feel like it could be too soft but I also am still learning so i think i’ll grow into it a lot. Looking forward to ripping with these!

Sue's nicely packed packaged arrive on time if not a day early & she had a great pair of skis. Great bindings for my Daughter who is an intermediate skier. She's used them 5 time this season and mounted on new K2 Mindbender skis. She has some older Nordica boots and even though the boots are older they work with no issues...Loved them so much I bought myself some new Marker Griffon 13 ID binding mounted on my new Peak 88 skis.
First off let me say these bindings exceeded my expectations. Marker really stepped up their game with the squire! I find the DIN range to be perfect for inbounds lapping and crushing. The heel and toe piece release smoothly and reliably and don't even get me started on the brakes, they tuck into the heel piece perfectly. The anti-ice bar on the toe helps remove unwanted buildup from the boot and ensures that when I click in, I stay in until the binding needs to eject. I would 100% recommend the squire to any of those just learning skiing all the way to the medium or lighter advanced rider. Did I mention the sick colors they come in as well?!
